So the last burgers and hot dogs are about ready to join the first batch (on the black tray)

 

You're guess is as good as mine, but from the sounds of it, he's got work pouring out his ears.

I seriously don't mind the wait and when I want to get in touch with him I can, like when I bought that tailgate, however...the only thing that kills me is that I keep bugging him to post a pic of what he's got made up on facebook and I've not seen anything.

I still have 0 clue as to what this bumper looks like.

 

Yeah I kinda hate to say this now because he was so good to deal with when he first started his company but I'll never buy anything from him again. I haven't heard a good story about him in a while. Like over a year. Hes really slackin and I couldn't deal with the wait/ bad communication stuff

I've never had gluten free bread before. I eat burgers all the time, but just the burger. Haha they are good with no bread too.

 

This. Anytime I had called or emailed him inquiring about a price nothing for days or weeks. Then barely answered anything I asked. EddyRRT has been super with communication. And pics. Pretty much anything I have asked him to do he has some how found a way to accomodate. Like not charging kurt extra to ship that skid with my bumper. To me it just speaks volumes

 

That's how he was at first too. I had multiple hour long convos with him about what I wanted. He even called me before he shipped the bumpers to make sure the arrival date was good for me. It was excellent customer service. I haven't been a part of or experienced any of the bad stuff that these other people are dealing with so I can't agree with them but I've just seen enough to make me not wanna bother with him. Hes a good guy but he's def havin some company problems right now and looks like has already lost a lot of future business. I've seen a lot of eddy talking to people and he's doing it right. Hopefully he can continue as he gets more work

 

Well it like the convo I had with eddy a few nights ago regarding sliders. It was basically I would love to sell you some sliders and I will. But I've got so many bumper orders that let me get these taken care of before I take on those sliders. That's not what he said but the vibe I got. Which to me says this guy cares about his business enough that he doesn't want to over promise and not be able to deliver. Which like I said speaks highly of the kind of person he is. I appreciate his honesty. He is a one man shop and isn't going to take on more than he can handle. He told me up front he hand makes every single bumper and can usually have a bumper done in a day. But his wife and kids come first. And he doesn't try and rush the bumpers through. So that's why the 4 week due date. If it happens earlier awesome. If it happens later that's fine depending on the wait as long as he stays in contact with and keeps me updated.

The other thing I absolutely loved about Eddie was he didn't shove shit down my throat. He asked what I wanted and what I planned on doing. Hell he even turned me away on some things because I didn't need them. And his willingness to send me parts later as my budget allowed was great. Most companies now days want you to buy everything they offer and then some and then later down the road nothing.

 

As long as the body shop doesn't hammer me Gid. All depends on that

I've always thought West Town might be too crowded. Especially since Cheese Cake Factory went in. However, if anyone knows a good route through there I'll follow. I'm mostly stock though. 265/75/16 tires w fake beadlocks and a TRD skid. If you think Im ready enough I'll be there. West Town meet?

 

lol. it is crowded. maybe straight out of cheese cake at the end of parking lot. go from parking lot to the road? i think it looks do able but not be may bottom out and get hunt up since it’s kinda steep. 6” could do it no problem but i don’t know about lifted.


maybe twin peaks and than hit up the mall to talk adam in doing it?
