hello there. I just put on bigger tires on my truck, went from the 265/70/16 to 285/75/16. I also bought new king coilovers. My question is, will my tires rub the coilover?? Right now I have the stock trd forged wheels from the tx trd package the offset is 30. A buddy of mine told me to get some wheel spacers, so I wouldn't risk that. Thank you.. also a newbie to the forum so any bit of information will help !!!

Not sure if you'll hit the coil over, but you'll probably rub the UCA on stock wheels.

If you've got stock 16's you'll need to run spacers otherwise you'll rub your uca.

They are a stock rims. I was hoping it'll be okay since i have the tx trd offroad wheels I was hoping to ride it out with the stock wheels until I buy method wheels.

Are the tx wheels the same as the bronze fj beadlocks? If it is, I am running 285's on the bronze fj beadlocks with zero rubbing. It seems to have the perfect offset for 285's on my truck.

If I put 1-1/4" spacers on my bronze fj's then it will rub. The bronze fj wheels have a different offset than the regular stock wheels.

Don't think the kings are any wider than stick springs. Like above, you might rub the uca

It's thicker, but the ball joint area is thinner than stock. Thus giving you more room

And if you did more than a 2 and a half lift. You have more room there also. If you ran stock uca on a 3 inch lift. The uca will hit the coil spring when it extends

I haven't trimmed anything, just take off front mudflaps and the black plastic thingy on the bumper side of the fender. If your wheels are the same as mine then you will rub more if you put spidertrax spacers on.

Did you put the 285's on already?

no i meant the rims are black. lol My kings are blue so they stick out. The black kings were too much so i stuck with the adjustable resi. I will crank it up to 3''.
