Frustrating to say the least... but at least now it'll have OEM gaskets and seals, and I'll know its good to go. I was nervous about the head gaskets when I bought the motor and started researching the gasket kit they gave me with it. I saw this coming, I just had my fingers crossed. Got a few other things I'm going to do while I'm in there so its not all bad.. I have a busted frame side motor mount that I'll be able to fix correctly now that I can get to it with the welder, and a new water pump since I was to cheap to do it when I originally did the swap.

I will put this up in here before I make a for sale posting since no way in hell I am going to look at shipping this thing.

ATO 1/4" steel skid for 2nd gen.
be advised it is heavy. 77 pounds or something like that.
painted with brush on rustoleum. scratched up but it is a skid plate. no dents or major gouges. even has a nice coating of gear oil on the back (looks like I got a leak too Mike!)
    $150 obo.

I'll even help you put it on if you want.

You guys suck. I just dropped 4k on funeral expenses and now people are selling skid plates. Oh well, maybe later.

Ok sounds good. Do you know the guage used for the the Relentless? Any idea of when you will be doing this? I am either looking to get a used one or have Jake build me one.

Putting them on this thread before craigslist.. For here ill give you a deal and drive a reasonable distance. About 3k miles or less on them used for highway only, no off road. Very good shape. Yokohama Geolander HT 245/75/r16. Quiet tire great for commuting during the summer. I took them off last november before winter because they are a highway tire, saved them because I was going to use them this summer but never got around to buying another set of wheels. Set of 4. Make me an offer not to sure what they would go for

Nice! I must say. I would be happy to have either. If Zach would be interested in the 1/2" Relentless skid over the 1/4" ATO skid, I would like the ATO. If he wants the ATO I want the Relentless lol

Ok well if they are the same then I guess it doesn't matter. I do like Relentless fab's work I just thought I would throw that option it there.

What are you going to be doing instead?

I'll find a thinner one. Maybe a one piece if I can remember who made it

I dunno if I would run this with stock coils, TRD or otherwise.
I am running the Eibach springs and it dragged them down.
    but it's up to you.

I am ready to buy when ever but not in a huge rush. My wife works at the Boeing plant right by you so I could meet you there sometime whenever.
