There are two cutters. You probably won't be station there but you will go there for the academy.

This. I picked one up recently. Found out my Craftsman clicker style torque wrench is only low a few pounds when set at 83ft-lbs. Which is good considering it's 5+ years old and I'm a tard and leave it set somewhere around there all the time.

FYI - Sears doesn't do lifetime warranty on everything anymore. Be sure to check before you buy new stuff. For example tape measures are not lifetime anymore. If you bring in an old one they'll give you a new one that has a one year warranty or something.

...and I would think that a "digital" Tq. Wrench would probably be an item with a limited time warranty.
But it doesn't hurt to bring it in and check with them...

Didn't know that. Laat thing I brought to them was a ratchet that was 20+ years old and they didn't even have the matching model number... They just gave me the matching sized ratchet and called it a day

 

Just priced out a steering rack, lbj's, ITRE's, OTRE's, steering rack bushing kit, and jam nuts. $672 + shipping with moog parts. Saving up to get'er done.

My torque wrench arsenal consists of a Craftsman 3/8" & 1/2", Harbor Freight 1" and Harbor Freight 1/4" inch pound. I check them twice a year at work & they have all been close to spot on. I use the 1" HF mostly because of the PreRunner hubs & I'm impressed with it, haven't had to adjust it yet. The key is return them to their lowest setting after use.

 

Yeah man that was grimey as fuck. A combination of pewp and PS fluid. I'm sure it's again filled with shit after the crap we went through Friday, and the crap I got stuck in Sunday. Between that and wanting to upgrade to Tundra calipers, I'm gonna be broke for a while.

Yea I just ordered $400 worth of maintenance shit from rock auto plus I already have Kevin's hubs, new uniballs, and I have to spend almost $1000 more to finish my 90k mile maintenance/ critical components rebuild


Not fun at all...

 

I mean I have zero play in the inner and outer ends and the lbj's are still good as well, I just figured that I should do it all if I am working on the rack. That way I shouldn't have any concerns for the future and it's all just done.

 

If your going in & dismantling it all anyway you might as well replace it all to new. Sure can't hurt.
I'm still part-gathering for a full suspension rebuild.
