My buddies mom lives out there, talked to him Friday and he said things were looking good for that area, she couldn't smell the smoke anymore, did the fire kick back up?

 

It was 1000 acres yesterday and sounding like 20-30% under control.

Seems like that area burns every year.

Had a really good time, got a lot done this weekend too. Sliders, rock lights and about to do lbjs. Woo.

 

I think it was more residual smoke than anything. I didn't notice an excessive amount of fire dept activity, but we were on the outskirts off of 49, pretty secluded on 4000 acres back in the hills.

It most certainly does, at least for the past few years it seams I've offered my help if they need to get all her stuff/animals out just about every summer.

I'm getting new tires soon and need a little info. I'm stock height in a 2nd Gen. I have the stock 16" steel wheels. I know the largest I can go is 265. What width should I go with?

 

^75, 70 is stock sized and a little small. The 75's will look great on your truck at stock height. What tires are you going with?

 

Not sure yet. I'll be getting them through Les Schwab. I need to see what they carry.

Right on. I was thinking 70 to eliminate any rubbing issues. But I forgot you had 75s on your truck.

you might need to pound the pinch weld. but other than that you will be fine

 

Maui was awesome! I was in the water pretty much everyday. I didn't surf any but I saw plenty of people surfing. The waves looked pretty decent; probably 3 feet.
