If you can't tell the difference in danger between someone racing down a rural street and a door salesman...

same as the link I posted earlier where the truck stopped a car from cutting through the park again... the cost/benifit ratio is acceptable IMO.

do I think the guy throwing the rock/brick/what ever was right? no. would I have done the exact same thing? hard to say, don't know how many times that guy raced up and down the street. odds are it wasn't his first rip through, most cameras wouldn't be out and ready like that...

but in my opinion, he's doing it in protection of others (there were two parks and an elementry school on that block)... I'll back him every time.

Unjust laws are to be broken.

No, that's no excuse. Just because you think your cause is heroic doesn't make it so and the law backs up my stance.

So the guy in the Dodge that rammed a car to stop a pursuit from going through the park is not justified?

how about citizins that help tackle criminals who are running from the cops?

again... cost vs benifit ratio... so the dude get's fined... and maybe has to pay for repairs... but possibly saves a life...

    just my $.02

I must must have missed something, was he running from the cops? Otherwise I'm not sure why you'd bring those comparisons up unless they were identical since I wasn't allowed to make comparisons that weren't identical.

I think you guys are talking about different videos. One video is of the dodge truck stopping the little white ricer car from driving through the park again with the police politely chasing him as they were afraid to cause more danger. The video of the guy driving a lambo through the street and getting a rock thrown at him is a different one.

I think my comparison between a car speeding down a residential street near a school and park, and one speeding through a residential area/park from the cops is a pretty close comparison in terms of saftey

as opposed to comparing it to not using a blinker/bike not in it's lane/solicitor at the door

but hey... what ever helps you justify your argument.

at the end of the day... it's my opinion... and I'm not one to just sit by and watch people get hurt.

Lol thanks. I'm sure we'll get to it later today. Don't want anybody stealing it. We don't have a place to park the entire thing at my dads so it's over at my moms. Gotta unload it off the trailer, put it in the garage, navigate the trailer into the driveway and the usually we have to shuffle around all the vehicles. One of these days we'll have some land and this won't be a problem anymore lol

Thinking about bringing my truck next year though. We'd trailer it too haha

Justify my argument? I'm not the one condoning blatant violation of laws in an aggressive & violent vigilante fashion to right a wrong that hasn't even happened in name of saving the precious children.

What if he had a kid in the car with him? Does that change your story? What if he was rushing someone (call that someone another child since that seems to be the only way you think) to the hospital? What gave that doucher the right to be judge, jury and executioner? Two wrongs do NOT make a right. Remember that old chestnut? It applies here and the laws support that so keep on ranting but that's just how it is.

Jesus... why does everything these days have to be taken immediately to hyperbole about safety of children? For crying out loud. The over pussification of this nation in the name of imaginary safety needs to end and if people want to think I'm a dick because I'm the one willing to say it out loud then so be it. I'm tire of giving up liberties & freedoms because someone thinks their arbitrary feeling of safety is paramount to everything else in life. I mean, why don't we just make every roadway out side of I25 a school zone and the max speed everywhere in the state 25mph 24/7/365? After all, it's for the chirrens! We've got to draw the line somewhere and hurtling bricks at cars you think are speeding as they pass by surely crosses that line and as of right now laws all support that statement thank Allah.

We live in a society of laws and NOT mob rule. If you're not happy with the fact that what he did was illegal then I suggest you do something to change the law or move to somewhere that supports your dream of vigilante justice because it ain't this country.

So since the laws support my stance I see no need to keep up with this back and forth on this topic as I've got better shit to do.

Just got a crazy deal for $960 I wheeled and deales with a sprinkler guy. He going to put my sprinkler system in, burry all 4 down spouts 10ft away from my house, lay all my edging, land scaping fabric, and move the 16 tons of rock I have coming. :D id say that's a win in my book.
