Love that thing. It's not on the truck 24/7 but when I went to Pismo it worked great and had a few ppl asking me what it was. Just plan to have it on trails for my trash and picking up trash on trails.

Yea. I saw that. I was going to post in your thread. I'm having a party for my girlfriends graduation tomorrow. I'm always doing something when you go out on a run. I'll try and go on the next one. I might go to Azusa Sunday morning depending if I don't lagg and write some papers for school.

Well I thought my air compressor was gone for good. Went to air up last night and battery sparked when I went to hook up to battery. (switch was stuck on the on position). The on/off switched stopped working for some reason. I was thinking the spring inside jammed. Called ViAir and they didn't have a switch to replace. So I made my own. Better than nothing or paying for a new compressor.

Anyone know about this leak? I smell the front diff oil. Weird it barely happened this morning. Haven't been off-roading in about a month.

 

Fixed. Was a seal. Recommend Julians Discount Tire in Azusa off Foothill. Paid half of what every shop was charging thanks ryan for pointing them out. Worth the 20 mile drive.

Installed some Firestone Airbags. Just under 3 hours to install.

Just wondering why you put air bags, instead of going with a custom leaf pack?

 

GF wants a boat and travel trailer.

EDIT: how much do custom leaf packs run for?

I know all pro standard leafs are $450. Air bags were $160.

Custom leaf packs run like 800 bucks.

Can you wheel with airbags?

 

Damn. That's a lot. Eventually I will get the all pro standard duty. No :/ I'm going to see if I can just un-loosen the bottom of the bags and see how that works out.

Can I take this suspension off road or is it just for show? Absolutely take it off road! We designed this system to ride great on road with much improved off road ability. A better, predictable feel off road, with big increases in articulation are the results. You will also have the ability to increase and decrease the air in each bag to “plant” a tire better and regain lost traction in high articulation situations. No other suspension allows you to do that! Also, our suspension gives you four link control over the common “axle Wrap” syndrome that is such a problem off road. Most other companies offer some kind of “traction bar” to combat this problem. It is one more expense that typically causes other problems. We have this built into our design and it is really nice to have. Other air suspensions on the market are just for show on the road and don’t endorse their systems for off road use. Why have a four wheel drive if it can’t go off road?

 

Idk. I have heard ppl add extensions to the bottom. I have to look into it more.
