Are you just looking for a factory synthetic stock?

I have a good friend (taught me the fiber points of shooting) that used to compete in IR 50/50 with a 10/22, an would win.

His gun was built with all volquarsten parts with a lot of custom smith work on it. If you are set on a 10/22 it can be done but not cheap lol. Start looking at Kidd and volquarsten parts and go from there

Or get a bolt action, I've heard some of the CZs do well in some of the classes

I have the take down version and a standard version and I'll never get rid of either they are great rifles. Love the reliability and parts for theses rifles.

Thanks! I've been eying a CZ .22 for myself, but I'll ask her. Her current mission is to find a club that shoots regularly and get more proficient at the competition styles of shooting.

Wish I could shoot mine more, but I can't get ahold of any ammo :( It almost makes me want to sell it to fund my first deer gun. I got it to target practice, develop good shooting habits, but I can't do that if I don't have any ammo.

Here's mine, the end result will have a threaded barrel + a can on it. I wanted a small, three piece SHTF "bug out" type of survival rifle. Just received the Vortex Sparc II for this, but have yet to take her to the range.
I'm a HUGE Vortex supporter btw.

Why a folder on a take-down? If your looking for small and compact, why hang 14 inches of useless crap off the end? Not trying to slam you, just don't really understand the direction you're heading with this build.

I like the ergos on the folder better than the factory stock, and the side folder makes it even easier to carry in my pack assembled and ready for bunnies. As for the can since its legal here to hunt surpressed it makes bunny slaying a lot easier. Hope that makes sense.

For now at least this is a decent set up. At some point I will pick up a Ruger Charger thread the barrel and put everything but the stock on the pistol version, making it nice and tiny. And avoiding having to SBR a 10/22. But that will be down the road a bit.

Not sure of AACs offerings, but I would not recommend using a 223 suppressor on a rimfire. Most center fire cans are not serviceable. .22lr makes a hell of a mess inside the baffles and over time will reduce its effectiveness as it fills with lead and powder residue. I was going to recommend a sealed baffle design or an encapsulated mono core. 22lr is very dirty, just keep that in mind.

I like the Vortex stuff too. My buddy just put the PST 4x16x50mm on his M1A and it is really nice.

I have the Strikefire and love it. I also like that they are 300.00 less than the competitor's equipment with nearly the same quality. Mine has yet to fail me and they stand behind their products if anything goes wrong with them.

I don't shoot competitively but I have a complete custom 10/22 and love it. I went with an entire Kidd set up except for the barrel and stock (TacSol fluted barrel and Hogue Overmould stock). I love the Kidd stuff. Prepare yourself for the bill. I have nearly 2000.00 in mine. It is a tack driver though and I can shoot a consistent sub-1 inch group at 50-100 yards with it. It's a squirrel's worst nightmare....LOL.
