He seemed to be doing enough passes speeding to get someone mad at him, so speeding and explaining to the police is likely why he drove off im guessing.

Yea, I wouldn't want to be either of them in that situation.

.....if it was Seattle, rock guy might make $15 /hr if he washed the windows though.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...

Sounds like the person videotaping was a minor...perhaps we don't have the entire story. Maybe there was a school nearby. Maybe his child was crossing that street. Maybe he's had enough...

And IF the cops showed up, the rock thrower could have claimed self defense: pedestrians have the right of way and that driver did rev and accelerate "towards" him.

Either way, WTF did that rock do to either of them??!

In a car that's worth probably over $200k, probably a good ding that's going to cost $20k-$30K to fix right.

    Depending on the state....
In California it is a felony to throw anything at a moving vehicle.

And with the video (which we don't see the whole thing), there MAY be enough to stick a reckless charge on the driver. An infraction (simple speeding) has to be witnessed by the officer (possible to fight it in court if the officer used privately recorded video), but misdemeanor reckless would stick.

There is a guy that every morning at about 10:30 races past my office in one of those Lambos. I thought it would only last a month or so as soon as he would realize that our street isn't the start to LeMans... but no - he still does it. I wonder if I could hire that guy?

Why not call the cops? I'm sure they'd enjoy ticketing a db like that.

    The better coast
If youre on the 2nd floor you can always accidentally push a desk out the window into his way. Then when he hits it you can claim he was going too fast for conditions and sue for millions on the basis of the psychological damages of loosing your desk. :cookiemonster:

Done that 3x. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy owns a doughnut shop.
