From what I see, no fucking way is that a total, even if calculated by adjuster at full retail (which is about how they price shit out) they probably added the replacement cost of airbags , regardless if they deployed or not, at full retail of course...

If he does sell it I was gonna try and get it if I can. Been trying to help him troubleshoot it via PMs.

I really hope he keeps it though.

I knew Gary was gonna look out for me, ..;)

As far as the truck goes, obliviously I want to keep it, its supposed to be more of a project (SAS) when the house sells, but gotta say in my 56+ years on this marble I have never been so close to starvation/deprivation as I've been the last couple months, had the water shut off last week for 24 hrs but thats long enough, managed to pay the bill, I was averaging 2 days a week with pretty much nothing to eat, meh no big, at least I could pick & choose which days to starve haha... but I've got 2 or 3 spring jobs coming up this next week & 1 has confirmed payment sent as of tomorrow morning so its something anyway...my truck isn't much, but its been a faithful rig thats taken me (& a few of you too) to places I'd never been to or would ever see.. It's been driven in not so friendly manner a few times & didn't break or complain too much & its brought me here, but mostly when it WAS down as well as myself it was YOU GUYS that unselfishly gave your time & $$$ to keep it & me going, it'd be kinda like a slap in the face to those who donated, to just sell it, thats how i see it...

What DOES suck is this whole poverty thing passes in a big way for me in a couple months & I thought I could get a loan of 1k or 2k from my father in law (who's pretty deep in the pockets $$$$$) until I sell, he offered to loan me some to get started on my dental issues , so i went to his place to talk about it & figured shit, might as well get a grand or 2 so it would help the whole issue, get my teeth started, fix my truck plus gotta smog & register & get about $300. in groceries so i can sleep at night with no headaches or stomach aches, I mean hell I'd do it for him or anyone of you if in need, just the way i am, but I mentioned the extra amount & how much it'd help me & HIS DAUGHTER over the hump but he wasn't interested in doing more than the teeth thing which puzzled me a little, well guess what, found out THE ONLY reason he offered it up was so he could go with me like I'm some little fucking kid to the dentist & use one of his 15 credit cards for the points he'd gain... I wanted to kick his fucking ass right then & there.. I mean it wasn't like he was giving it to me, i had to pay it back , the old fuck just had to profit from my misery, so i politely told him to shove his "heart felt" offer in his fat german ass, & basically excused myself & walked home from fletcher hills, what a cock sucker

That'd be cool, then I might have someone to wheel with, it seems like everyone back there just wants to run in the mud.

Dad does want those interior LED's for the 4runner, and he said he should be free either Wednesday or Thursday evening (I forgot which he said) so I'll let you know when we're free after I talk to him tomorrow.

Yeah thanks chris, i got a dentist in Lakeside thats pretty good , he gives me a decent break on extractions & I pay him cash & its not subsidized by the county or state or federal , like i told you , I'll starve or bleed to death before I ask any of these parasites for a fucking thing, they hads no problem denying my unemployment , never could figure out how a guy knocking down $31,000 A QUARTER !! would be left out in the cold for 2 & a half years until the $25k-$30k I had legit banked was no longer mine, & I still have the stubs to prove it, but whatever, hope they fucking choke & die on it. I don't file/pay taxes anymore either, fuck'em, this state DOES suck the life out of you, wasn't always this way, but it is now haha... & like Jake , I'm looking forward to relocating to a more user friendly/less invasive atmosphere, I love it geographically & I'll miss you guys here, but just simple economics & governmental overlords wont permit it, but hey, not going too far, N.western AZ. in about 6000ft ele. is fine by me, or in Nevada, matt keeps bugging me to come up & check things out & from what I've seen its worth checking into, besides we had a blast working together in that ghetto Casino La Posta haha...

Sure thing Gabe ? What brand & how much $$$ ya need ??

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    Perfect !!! haha

Hey , right back atchya jake ! despite whatever anyone has said to you , good or bad, You're a good hearted, decent young man, you're parents have brought you up right it seems & they should be proud , & I got a feeling paths will cross again, hell i still have relatives in Okla/Kansas /Arkansas/missouri/ nebraska, so miss. isn't too far off the beaten track...;)

Yes but it still comes down to paying cash you don't have, or that could be better put towards something else. As for unemployment I feel you, i was turned down for that shit when i was wrongfully terminated, and believe it or not, not even 5 years ago I was worse off than you are now. You think losing water for 24 hours is bad, try 2 weeks.... Eventually you just have to swallow your pride, throw the woe is me attitude in the gutter, and take advantage of what ever opportunities you can that won't cost you an arm or a leg in the future.

What a coincidence that I see unemployment talk here. I've been suspended with pay since April 14 and already received an advance notice of termination. I requested an appeal but so far have yet to hear anything from my union rep and my superiors.

So on what grounds can one be denied unemployment? Do they base it on being laid off or being terminated?

if you're laid off you're pretty much guaranteed to get it. If you're fired you might have a fight on your hands, and system is not on your side here.
