Nice. I got the fiance to do an IIFYM plan and let me train her. She's down 3 lbs in two weeks

the 2 hardest parts were 1. convincing her that lifting weights would not turn her into one of the Snu-Snu women from Amazonia 2. you don't have to eat Ezekial bread, salad, grilled plain chicken, and shit like that to get results.

I never hit 1g/lbs. At 185 lbs. I take in maybe 140g, at most 155g on a "perfect diet day". I've posted on here before my reservations about the whole 1g/lbs. idea. IMO it's an outdated practice. Do you really think you're breaking down that many protein chains in your workout?

True. I like going at least 1g per pound, just to be safe, but I don't feel absolutely horrible when I have a bad day and only get 140-150g

Do you feel like the leg press and seated calves do about the same work. I just have a hard time getting the safety catch under the bar on my seated calves

You guys are barking up that tree too?

I weight ~165 and consume about 90-100g on an off day and about 130g on a workout day.

My first day on this job one of my mentees I guess you would say was like oh so where do you work out at? "King's gym... Everythings broken and everyone is huge. I like it though, I'm the youngest and smallest person there. You?" "Oh I go to planet fitness."

    :p

I feel like they do, except seated calves feel a little safer to me because there isn't as much strain on my back. On the standing one (with two pads on your shoulders, right?) I feel like a lot of impact goes to my back since the goal is to keep your legs straight (Like limiting uptravel! I think?).

I don't need any help hurting my back. Lol I feel I'm already on path to that

do one less rep or lighter weight to make sure you can still lift it high enough to set the catch in place. Or start riding a bike. road bikers have huge calves.

I usually do about 170 on the seated and I feel like I can do them forever but when I'm done I have to put it all up on my toes and hold it until I can push the bar under. I tried lowering the top part but the next step puts me at heels on the ground.

I do seated calve raises, leg press calve raises, and jump rope. Jump rope always makes me sore when I do tabata with it. The biggest thing for calve raises is to not go super fast and doing them sloppy. Go slow and use a full range of motion (as in, stretch your feet so your Achilles tendon is all the way tight, then bring your heels up as high as they go, so that your calve is at a full flex.) A single calve raise should take a full second. I always see people doing them super-fast and that's not doing shit.

Loving it. Compared to C4, it's amazing. It's just a hair better than Assault. I like it a lot and will do a full, in-depth review after it's all gone. Also, I'm about halfway through the test booster. I can definitely tell my sex drive is up haha!

Hey, that assault WORKS doesn't it? I got a sample of that when I ordered something pre workout from bodybuilding.com, I used that thing and MAN! Even at the end of my workout I was leg pressing... I think by the 4th set I was at 540 (Maybe not a lot for yall but I had never went as far as 6 plates on each side until that day, no telling what I could have done if I started with leg press)

I think minimum is .75g/lb so you were probably good.
