Anyone else good to hit shoe the weekend of the 20th? I Taylor suggested that and it should work great for me.

I'll have some pics up later today er tomorrow of the rear bumper, I got the main section finished all that left is the sides. I've found out though that I'm about 7" above the VA legal limit :( so ima add a section of square tube below it that will get me at least CLOSER, lol

I can come down on the 21st (Saturday) morning and wheel and camp that night, maybe wake up and hike to Crabtree falls or something

Hopefully nothing pops up that I have to go to

def narrowed down the annoying ass noise when I hit bumps to the front of the truck. I ran over/backed over a speed bump outside my apartment multiple times. When the rear end goes over, no noise at all. Front end goes over, noise.

Sounds like the same thing that was happening with me it kinda sounded like a thump or loud bump or thud. All I had to do was get an alignment but I thought it was something hitting or I put the struts on wrong or something like that.

have to hold off on that until I get back to the states, I'm not comfortable with the German shop doing it again. i had my tires balanced by them today and they charged me 104 euro (= $141).

on another note, I ordered one of the access cab roof racks from Prinsu Design Studio. Thinking that'll be the last of the mods while I'm here, besides adding the bluesea fuse box and breaker under the hood. content with how the truck is for now, plus it will limit the wife's nagging. haha. once I get stateside I'll start back up again.

so I got the drivers side almost 100% done. all that's lefts is fabbin up the corner section under the light (see the open space below) and adding two supports run to the frame. I'm hopin to have a solid day friday to get the other side at leaf to this point if not be able to get it all done :)

    and now the pics:

it looks crooked in this shot but I promise it's almost entirely the camera. I left it tilted slightly as a deflection angle but not nearly like it seems here
    [IMG]

and an up-close of my best weld yet (also my longest :) )

I haven't gotten a super pretty bead yet but I am able to make a strong and reasonably nice lookin one and this is all just flux core, no gas yet... yet :spy:

Got it as a freebee from spieler since he didn't know the correct dimensions so that's a bonus as long as it fits. He does good work too and he's also doing a custom decal.

Travis looks good man that bumpers coming along really well.
