Probably not. My stock ones seem good still, and it seems people are having problems with the Moog's?

very interesting. Same ones I attempted to press into my lca's on my 2006. I'm sure I could have forced them in with the press but I wasn't ready to destroy $150 worth of bushings and not be able to return them.

Be sure to post up some pics of them in the lca's before you bolt them on the truck.

Are the part numbers on your bushings 67035 and 67036? I actually got sent 2 packages because my first one only had 3 bushings. So I guess now I have 3 spare bushings.

Looking for some help guys- First, thanks for the great writeup.

2nd- had the truck worked on and the shop thinks my dried and cracked bushings look like they need to be replaced. After they got working on the truck though- the OEM replacement bushings arent the right size (or so the shop thinks/is saying).

My know-how is a bit limited so I had a shop install a 6" fabtech lift a few years ago.

Is there any reason why the bushings would be a different size? I swear the lower control arms are still the same from stock, and I dont think the fabtech kit requires new bushings. Is there any reason why these would be different bushings from stock?

Has anyone with suspension lift kits had to swap bushings before- and if so- did they have trouble using OEM bushings to swap out?

    Thanks for the help

You still use the stock LCA's with a fabtech lift. No change

I don't remember what the #'s on the bushings were. perhaps I was sent the wrong bushings? I mic'd them all and they were the same, just way off from my oem's & moog's

Thanks for this guide! After being told that both cam bolts were seized on the passenger side of my truck and that I wouldn't be able to get an alignment, I followed this guide this past weekend and replaced the bushings and cam bolts only on that side of the truck (all Moog parts), along with Camburg UCAs to get better alignments.

However, I took the truck to Toyota to get it aligned, and on my way home noticed it was pulling to the right. Went back and they said* they put the Hunter alignment equipment back on the truck and that it was indeed "in spec" and that the cheap quality Moog bushings were causing the truck to wander to that side. They refused to adjust the alignment further.

Is this possible if I have OEM LCA components on the drivers side and Moog bushings/ Cam bolts on the other? My cousin is an ASE certified mechanic and thinks they were telling me BS so they wouldn't have to deal with it. He suggested I take it somewhere else and get them to increase the caster as well since Toyota wouldn't. Thoughts?

My thoughts are they're BSing you. I'd take it somewhere else and see what they can do. If it's "in spec" then it should run straight regardless of parts brand name.

Did you get print outs for both times on the alignment rack?

Common procedure is to at least show the customer the results.

I was going to suggest bringing it to another shop. Ask for the print out and post it in here.

FYI, I have had Moog bushings in both LCA's since December and have had no problems thus far.

Good to know. I will be sure to ask for the printouts this time.

    All the normal TW BS

Sounds like my dealer. If they are too dumb, they blame you or the parts instead of admitting they are confused.

I've had moog on the truck for several years now and it's doing fine.

the looks of the bushings do not impact their ability to function. they look old and cracked when new.

Bushings should of never been changed and if they were they would still be the same size most likely.

LOL...they should align it to whatever you want if possible to do so.

    Is your truck lifted?

    I like to run

    0* toe
    0* camber
    3* caster

with a minimal lift if any.

    this

    and this

my alignment being out has nothing to do with my Moog ball joints...it's the shock that pushed the cam tab down after a hard hit that did that :D

Thanks again XXXX. My truck is lifted 3 inches, but with a differential drop and Camburg UCAs to correct most geometry issues.

I wish Toyota would align it with more caster, but they said they would only align to Toyota specs because of liability issues. I offered to sign a release form but they said they couldn't do that. Tomorrow night when I get off work I'll keep y'all posted. Hopefully my cousin and you guys are right... I really don't want to have to install Moog parts on the other side as well.

Think about this... a lifted truck can't have stock specs or it is dangerous.

Anyone who knows 1/4 of their shit would know you need to increase caster for stability when lifted. Get your money back. they should of never offered to take on the job if they can't do it right or don't know how to.

Just wait.... they will be soon anyway if the other side was bad.

Welp after reading your last post, I got motivated to take it back for a third try at Toyota and raise some hell and get a print out this time. Here are the results:

    epa7ezen_ed81fddc1a0c22cf0c2caa9ebce0fdcdf1628914.jpg

While they didn't charge me, the truck is STILL wandering to the right. Not as bad, but right once I let go of the steering wheel, sure as $#*7, there it goes off to the right. They said this would be the last time they would touch it because they never have issues like this with non modified cars/trucks. Oh well. Lesson learned. I'll spend my money somewhere else and won't buy from that dealership again. It seems that the moog bushings on one side are indeed affecting the alignment.

It's not the moog bushings. They didn't change ur camber or caster at all. The little bit of difference in caster will cause it to pull the way it's pullin. Mine is the same. Unless u get them to actually get both sides even, it will not track perfectly straight

Didn't know they had to get it that perfect. Wish Hunter equipment was a lot cheaper, I would be doing my own alignments like everything else on my truck. You want it done right, you gotta do it yourself!
