bed liner spray

Has anyone ever tried the bed liner spray can method? When I bought my taco it came with stains in the bed... would any recommend this method for fixing it?

 

Ehh...It's a truck-It's gunna get dirty (imho) and all you are adding is extra weight if you spray in bed liner...On a truck with a metal bed it protects the metal...but the composite bed in this...no need for protection.

If the stains and stuff really bugs you...Get a bed mat...or look for a front end wrecked 2nd gen and snag the bed outta that....

 

Brunes, I tried telling my dad that it's not a rusty F150 with an aluminum bed. He STILL want's to get it bedlined with Linex. Well he really want's to protect this investment, I guess.

 

the stains really bother me my bed is very much stained all over

 

Try some 303 protectant or back to black type cleaner. It just don't make sense to me to add the weight of a bed liner material just to cover stains.

i was looking for something to clean it with opinion more than the paint liner opinion i am against painting it anyways

 

I'm with Brunes as far as the weight, but this would be a lighter option.

But it will get stained too. Unless your going to spruce it up with the rug and then never use it to haul anything again.

 

nah as much as it raind in houston the water will stay and smelll i would rather have my bed all scratched up unless it came with that hot chic in the bed ... then i want it

 

I touch these up all the time, find yourself a auto paint store and get a can of SEM brand Trim black spray paint, takes a bit but makes it look good, make sure to spray some adhesive promoter

 

I'm surprised you can even stain the bed tbh... Can't just, powerwash whatever is there?

 

My bed has some light brown stains from hauling brown dyed mulch when it was damp/wet. I'd recommend buying a scoop of BLACK dyed mulch, hauling it around for a week and keep hitting it with the hose so that the black dye will leach out and make your bed black again. That black dye will probably make your truck look like new. When you're done, drop the mulch in your yard or return it to the place you bought it from for a partial refund.
