30 and younger thread

I have a 2.2 at the moment..

 

Since we're on the topic of GPA's.....

 

I graduated hs with a 3.33

I just had about a 3.0 on my second semester of college :/

 

My cumulative GPA is pretty close to that, but it's good enough I don't get academic probation, so that's good.

 

I just didnt really try my first year but I didnt fail anything at least

 

I'm probably going to turn my business administration associates into a bachelors degree in the future to help bump up my GPA a little. I think it'd be cool to have two bachelors degrees too.

 

Just do well in everything else that shows up on a resume and you'll be good. 3-4 awesome qualities/accomplishments will overshadow 1 not so great one. just make sure it doesn't turn into 2 not so great bullet points

 

I had a friend Freshmen year that got a 0.36 first semester and a 0 second semester. Got an A in a one credit gym class only because a kid that worked in the weight room signed him in every day for makeups.

 

i graduated HS with like a 3.7 or something with ap classes and whatever...now im down about 1 grade point in college...it fucking sucks. engineering destroyed me haha.

Most I have seen are 3.0 min but probably higher to be competitive...i wish there were more that had a 2.8 min.

 

Youre in community college.. if you didnt have a 4.0 I'd be worried.

In engineering jobs? Most don't really have a specific policy at all but the ones that do are usually 2.75 or 2.8

STFU, just because it's community college doesn't mean it's easy.

I suppose it depends on where you go but after my dad retired from the AF he took some classes at a community college and he said as long as you showed up and did the homework (which took like 20 mins at the most if that) you got an A. And he was one of the only ones in the class who got an A...He said nobody showed up half the time.

sounds about right. i graduatedwith about a 2.8. had a lot of other things going for me, that allowed my GPA to be brushed under the rug, but there was certainly no line in the sand that you had to be met.

Very true. I took calc 2 at CC one summe to lessen my hours in the fall. completely sucked, since the teacher wasn't of the same quality i was used to. had to put in twice the time to get through it.
