Hey guys, wondering if anybody here can help me with a new noise that my truck started making. I noticed it a few days ago when I would lightly press the brakes while moving, its a faint metal on metal squeal. It used to only be when I pushed the brakes, but today I noticed the same sound whenever I would turn to the right. If I put more pressure on the brakes it goes away, and usually if it's a tight right turn it doesn't make the noise. I think its coming from the right front wheel, but I'm not totally sure. Anybody have an idea of what I should look for?

some of this, a little of that
have you had your brakes inspected? Most shops should be able to at least give you a free inspection. If they find something get a second opinion on it.

brake warning tab making contact with the rotor? :)

when's the last time you changed/checked your brakes, driver's side will wear faster than passenger since driver's side is always occupied while vehicle is in motion.

yep. I'd bet money on brake pads needing to be replaced. It's like a 30 min job tops.

There is a kit you can buy for that. very simple. A short tabbed wire that connects to the end of a Mercedes,,;) The damn wire is $55K and they make you take the car,,cause they don't want it.:p

Sounds like the warning tabs on your brake pads or perhaps you have sticky caliper?
