Buying a full size would be my first guess.

I feel the same way until I'm parallel parking downtown or driving in a parking garage. Then I love my nimble little taco

    Put a lift on it.

But seriously go drive a full size like a tundra or f150 and seriously drive it have the sales guy ride with you to a mall parking lot or wal mart or somewhere with a ton of traffic and park it. World of difference trying to park one than most think. It basically flat out sucks trying to park in a crowded area

If you just want a bigger truck to have a bigger truck....then that's a decision that's totally up to you. If you don't pull things ( or pull a lightweight boat or other light trailer )..or load up the bed you've got now...what reason is there to get something bigger ?

Pretty much this. But it's entirely up to you. Definitely take one for a spin, see how it feels. I haven't driven my dad's Silverado in a while, but I have to tell you it is a much different feeling. I do enjoy driving it, but parking and such in busy areas is a b**ch. Then again, I was driving a compact before the Taco, so even this feels like a monster compared to that, still getting used to parking a bit.

I love my Tacoma for being able to throw something larger in the bed whenever I need to, and having the 4x4 as a safety net. I know I'd prob never need a full-size, but I know 5-6yrs down the line I'm gonna want a Silverado/Sierra or a Tundra. I just love the big trucks :p

Perhaps you're really yearning for something else to be "full size"...

Jokes of course. Like every else is saying, do whatever floats thy boat. I love the size of my DC and don't need a big V8, hence my Tacoma

Get a double cab Tacoma. The extra row is amazing! I wanted a tundra before my Tacoma but seeing them side by side makes you realize how massize they really are.

I'd want a bigger truck too if I had a regular cab. :D That's what you have, right?

They work for some, but I need more interior cargo/passenger options. I actually downgraded from a crew cab Sierra to my double cab tacoma; no regrets! Like others have said, I drive around downtown and park the tacoma so much easier than my old truck. I don't ever haul/pull anything that requires a half-ton, so that sealed the deal, and I've been wanting a tacoma since I was in high school.

Do you have a specific need for a bigger truck, or is it "just because"?

At any rate, this is 'Merica and it's your money... Do what makes you happy.

Ranch Topper, Bull Bar.....Yes, I know everyone thinks they are crap, I like the look
Nothing wrong with full size trucks.
    Just like full size women.
Bigger parking spaces, bigger airplane set.
Bigger gas consumption , bigger appetite.
Bigger tires, bigger bras......hopefully if you going with a big girl......
Lots of room to spread on.....in both....

Unless you absolutely need a full sized truck I'd stick with the Tacoma but by all means if you need the extra room and power then go full sized!

    Some stuff...
No, but I can appreciate a full-size (truck and woman:D). It's like a Queen size bed vs a King. Test drove a few Dodges - nice rigs, but not my cup-o-tea. Plus my wife has a Tahoe if I get a hankering to pilot a tank down the road!
