    Yup. They served me well. A guy who bought my 265 Grapplers is probably going to get them and some leveling spacers. Thanks man.

    Still 40%, but it's looking like we're in an afternoon thunderstorm pattern. I don't think the weather is going to be a factor, worse case it rains on the way home and that's just a bonus free truck wash. :D

    I'm just driving off the map here, but I was thinking that I'm getting off onto the Turnpike at rt. 27.
    If people are meeting somewhere, post up some addresses and I'll get there when you guys are meeting. No problem here with rain, makes it more challenging.

    3 more, actually. :D But to answer your question, never tried that. Seems like it'd be counter productive though and cause trail dust and such to stick even more. Mud is going to stick regardless.

    Some tard at Toyota gave me that WD40 "advice" stating that it'll be easier to wash afterwards :censored:
    I just washed, clay bar, polished and waxed my truck. I hope it doesn't get dirty on Sat.:poking:

    Well...I don't think you'll have to worry about that by the time we get to the Walmart staging area to meet up with the rest of the bunch. :devil:

    This, I can sort of see. It gets hot on the engine and bakes mud on. And, most of the crap you get in the engine bay is mostly indirect spray. But spraying the whole undercarriage with WD40? Meh, I'm dubious as to any value that would have. Seems like to me it'd get blasted off by water or scrubbed off by mud. And even if you didn't go through water or mud, the road dirt would stick to it more so than if the chassis was dry making it a greasy mess when you went to perform maintenance. Add to that, you're still going to be up under there spraying mud out of all the nooks and crannies where it will collect, it just seems like a waste of WD-40.

    That said, guys that aren't running aggressive tires will probably have less clean up underneath than someone like me with my super-aggressive tread.

    On the other hand, if you were driving through grease and tar, yeah, I could see some value in the WD40 treatment. [IMG]

    Easy there, Sergeant Fury...:D

    ---

    Only 2 days left! :goingcrazy::headbang::thumbsup::woot:

    Unfortunately, the weather forecast is not improving. Currently, they are calling for 50% chance of Scattered T-storms and a high of 92* :p. Not nearly bad enough to call it off, but certainly not the Mostly Sunny they are calling for on Friday. Still it could improve before the event.
