Toyota does it for 89 box plus it's dealership material. So I recommend dealership for warranty purposes.

 

The stealership can't/won't do trucks with aftermarket wheels. Or at least so said Larry H Miller on Eubank.

Took my truck to Wheel Align It II. Always had good luck there, and happened to meet the owner while I was there. Super cool guy. Rolled up in a badass '75 Bronco and was checking out my truck while it was on the alignment rack. Started talking to him and he told me he just got a Taco too and wanted me to see it. LOL! So off we go in his dope Bronco to his house up the road so he can show me his new toy. Man I love car guys!

 

Odd, I've gotten my alignment done there. They told me they couldn't guarantee getting it in spec because of the lift. Won't be going back though. They couldn't get the caster in. Chet's on Menaul had no issues other than they didn't like the numbers I asked for. Got pretty damn close to what I asked for.

 

I always get mine done at the dealership here in SF, $59 and have never had any issues.

Chet's is awesome. If they were closer to my house (and open on Saturday) I'd go there, but alas they are not.

Yeah, the lip on my wheels is a good 2 to 3 inches and they said they wouldn't be able to mount the sensors. But I'm kinda with Ghost, wouldn't really trust them to do it anyway.

 

Yeah. I think the tech at LHM got camber and toe, then said "Good 'nuf." Some peeps speak highly of Firestone and their lifetime alignment deal. Although, you may have the same problem. I seem to recall (possibly incorrectly) that Cloudy has to switch to different wheels when he takes his truck in because of the mounting issue.

 

I tried to take my truck to get an alignment once. But I was told I had the wrong lug nuts and they wouldn't do it. So I did my own close nuf alignment on a thread I found here on TW

 

Not quite to factory specs with a solid front axle

 

Back before I "saw the light" and began lifting my trucks, I was into the lowered mini-truck scene. Took 2 different trucks to Firestone after they'd been dropped and the "alignment" they did made them worse than when I took them in there. I vowed never again to give Firestone a penny more of my money.
