put the drum on, tighten the shoes until you can't tighten anymore, turn the adjuster back 15 clicks

enjoy a beer

 

My CB has worked for over 2 years now and worked fine for 2 before that. It was only down for 2 years in the middle because I was to lazy to reroute my cables.

Don't you have another tree to drive into demolition man?

Anyone have tips for dressing up scratched interior plastics? I've had mine apart so many times lately inevitably some panels are starting to get beat up, mostly my center console now

 

i want to do some cool design vinyl around the headunit

 

I'm not having any luck with that adjustment hole, especially loostening it up

 

I just want to hide the scratches so it's not so obvious it's been ripped apart a billion times

I feel like for all these projects the extra space of an access/double cab would be nice to throw the plastics in. They end up all over the place for me right now... Oh well.

Sand/putty and paint it? Someone on this forum knew a detailer who was going to mix up small batches of paint that matched the gray plastic, but I don't think they ever got around to doing it.

Vinyl is so last century. Go with hydrographics

It's like you said, fun to move the wheel side to side and pretend I'm driving a boat, but you get used to it after a while. I feel like the front end clunk going over big bumps went away so that's a plus in my book

 

If your looking for trim pieces you shoukd see Craig's interior... Last I looked he had some carbon fiber from CariD.com that looked pretty sweet.

 

did you replace the star adjuster aka "wheels"
if so they are side specific
