Hahaha , dude, insist on swaying your words ?? I made one post in response , if no reference to welfare was made, my bad , relax & you'll live a less stressful life...haha wow...

But I will address your statement on minimum wage workers who go out & spend their checks on weed, why would it matter ?? They worked for it , they earned their pay, should there be someone monitoring how they spend it ? Or is there a certain level of economic stature attained that dictates minimum wagers cannot freely spend what they make & another level above minimum wage that dictates they can buy as much dope as they want or anything else for that matter, not saying their choices are right but you seem to imply that min wagers should be told what they can or cannot purchase....

Precisely. The top 1% pay more than the bottom 95% combined based on adjusted gross income

Lol you need some fresh air or something chill out. Hmm last time I checked such a purchase is illegal according to the federal government, did I say I should dictate what these kind of people buy? No. By all means, their money. But when they start complaining to the government that they aren't getting paid enough to flip shit then I'll have my say- hence this whole argument started. Psh making as much as a firefighter, what a joke. "Yeah mom I'm about to put myself in harms way today at work, these burgers don't flip themselves you know, I might get burned"

I'm glad Seattle is doing this, hopefully Cali does it too, then we can all laugh at them when they fail horribly and cry/beg for assistance.

One good thing I can see is at least people in human services will make more. As I see it there are few if any fields more underpaid than that

Hopefully not through more taxation, though I'm sure that's a strong chance. Sad that people in that field rank and file make minimum wage or damn close to it..

    Thanks for that thought.

Please contact your representatives and demand that California be excommunicated from the U.S. immediately; we don't deserve to be stuck in the same country with the rest of you...fine, upstanding people. :D

Human service is usually the last thing most think of. It's close to me as my wife has 30 yrs in the field. Makes me want to scream sometimes, especially when you consider if agencies go under or have to cut back..where do the clients go? They don't cease to exist.

LOL, if only. I just don't want those horrible ideas spreading over to my great state...or any other parts of America for that matter.
