anyone know off hand how much the FD BFD or Konig countersteers run at autocustoms?

 

yeah im pretty bummed lately. but i think i may be able to make more $$$ over there but we will see. worst case i come back

im gunna need to install that before i go back to kauai (hint hint ratha ). otherwise me and my younger brother will be doing it and we have a tenancy of breaking shit i sware it happens everytime we work together someone breaks something. bad luck i sware.

 

My BFD's were about $1300 shipped from the fs threads. Came with black lugs. 2 sets of hub caps. 1 set flat black the other matte bronze.

I was looking at those...or Vin's new SCS wheels

mine are...rock chipped and one is warped

 

countersteers. 19lbs each. I still get 18-20mpg consistently

 

with tires mine are 75

Not too bad. On the scale my wheels and tires were just over 60lbs.

I've noticed that since I've cut off my exhaust tip, my mpg avg went up. won't know for sure of any actual gains until the next fill up, but calculating miles driven with current gal of fuel used, i'm around 18.9...up from 15.9.

unless I can count the mpg gain to the shackle flip making me more aerodynamic

truck is also much quieter and stealthy

 

So if I cut mine I'll be over 20mpg

 

dunno if that would work on the stock exhaust, but you have to chop it if installing the shackle flip.

 

You would also need a best top cover and not the soft top. Different aereo dynamics involved, also has to be an 07 white access cab, might not work for our double cab.

 

just heard back from insurance; estimating $4,000 in repairs. Possible that there is more damage, will find out when they look at suspension and try the alignment.

comin along slowly. gonna paint the drl reflector, still debating if I should leave my headlamp reflector chrome or black. not sure if the halos will stand out if I leave it chrome???
