Yep. I made it on the first try just barely. On the second try I took a different start and only made it about halfway though.

2nd gear pinned in 4Lo running 5000 rpm... Speedo said I should be doing about 20 mph, I was doing what felt like 0.5 mph... It was a slow climb, hard climb. I was locked front and rear and I think the only think that saved me was that one of my front tires found a rock about 3/4 of the way up that got me moving a little faster. It's pretty steep and soft and you get about 2 truck lengths to pick up speed is all...

Also I just put together a video from the 1st day on Fin's and Hell's but I am at my in-laws and uploading is going painfully slow... 10% done and says about 6 hours to go...

We flopped at the bottom of the sand hill so never got to attempt it haha. The dune on poison spider was fun though, I never knew that trail had one.

I'm used to people calling me a guy by now haha

Which trail is this? If I don't take any other pictures, I want to take one of my truck sitting here. I am leaving Arkansas this Friday and will be in Moab Sunday--Friday.

i have wider tires so i float better on sand and like i said Boost which helps me get going much quicker. only draw back is my truck is a fat ass.

Since I missed the event this year, just saying thanks to everyone sharing pics. Fun to see. Diggin the pics from Behind the Rocks. That's a fun trail. The last time I ran it was in my cruiser and I haven't had a chance to run it in the Tacoma yet. But it's got some great obstacles like High Dive and White Knuckle.

Here's a couple pics of my cruiser on BTR just so I can feel like I fit in. :anonymous:

Boost might help a little. I have wider tires too, but that sand is SOFT and the real problem is there is a left hand turn about 1/4 of the way up the hill and you lose all momentum trying to make that turn. I was able to get about 2/3 of the way up with my truck during Cruise Moab last month.

i also said lockers front and rear that helps tons too. wondering who will buy them for their tacoma for next years event. If you had bought my springs atleast parts of your taco would have made all of BTR trail..
