So my '14 DCSB 4X4 V6 TRD Sport AT MGM Tacoma is scheduled to be delivered sometime this next week I am wondering if there are any things that are notorious for me needing attention ie: under torqued bolts, fluids that are low, things forgotten, anything you might have come across that I should keep an eye out for.

You are overthinking it. Reading this site can make you a little paranoid when people are asking questions for issues they are having. Enjoy your new truck. I've had two Tacomas during the last 16 years and have only had routine maintenance pop up.

My price is $31,933 plus TTL. Mine also has the navigation and the MSRP is $33,910. I think I did okay the order was placed on 4,30,2014 the build date was 5,26,2014 and it's scheduled to be delivered to the dealer this week. I'm in Chicago if that matters.

I'm sure you are right that I am overthinking and you're definitely right that this website will drive you crazy.

My wife thinks I'm cheating on her with the Tacoma world website but in reality I'm cheating on the Tacoma world website with my wife. I've done nothing but read this website for two months waiting for this truck.

Don't get your hopes up. I was scheduled for May 25th, then May 29th, then June 2nd. Guess who still doesn't have a Tacoma . . .

By ordering your Tacoma, you've already avoided the three major things you need to look out for: FORD, CHEVY, and DODGE.

    Congrats!!

Check it over and under before you leave.

When you go to trade it in they will check it out so make sure you check it out when picking it up...Check it over and under before you leave.
When I got my new tundra in '12 I looked it over and found several things that were loose and/or aliened wrong.
The grill for one thing was not in the right place. They fixed it.I had them torque the wheel nuts.
I was washing it one time by hand a month later and when I in the back of the bed I saw a big long light scratch on the roof. Not down to metal but it was there.Something I missed when checking it out.
This is a lot of money and you're a fool if you leave the dealership without combing over this truck inch by inch making sure you're gettin' what you paid for.
    ..

Oh yeah, check the oil and check the oil everyday until you really know this vehicle.

It's likely. My dealer managed to snag a slot on the assembly line for my truck, and I never got an exact date, but like a "we'll have it in 2 weeks". Then after 2 1/2 weeks, I was told another week or two. Getting your Taco exactly how you want it is more than worth the wait though, no matter how much the anticipation kills you :)

Tighten up the leafs (ubolts) to at least 75#s. My 13 was somewhere around 35#s.

Can someone remind me what's wrong with under torqued ubolts? I have yet to check mine. What are the symptoms or issues?

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Listen to the engine for signs of a weird noise like a serpentine pulley has a bad bearing, unfortunately you may not hear it until it gets to mid 30 degrees outside. That caused me to lemon my 2013, currently waiting for my 2014 to be delivered.

I had a 2006 V6 before that and racked up 175,00 trouble free miles. Put gas in it, wash it once in a while, do your maintenance, and enjoy it!
