Yup. Inner/outer tie-rods and LBJ's.

 

LBJ's do not sound like fun at all.

 

Not too bad. Remove cotter pin and castle nut to the tie rod, remove 4 bolts, swing spindle out of the way, remover cotter pin and castle nut from LBJ, press out the ball joint and then go in reverse order.

As long as nothing is too badly seized I should be okay.

I'm hoping mine won't be too bad. Having the right tools such as a tie rod puller will help immensely. Seems to work great for everybody else. I don't plan on using the hammer method haha

 

When I inquired about their clear film for my new headlights I was under a totally different impression after I did my research.

1) 7 year warranty is really not 7 but 5 and it's on the film not the lights they are installed on.

2) Lights break down mostly due to exposure to UV rays and heat not exposure to oxygen.

3) Lamin-x's clear film stops Zero UV rays thus not providing any protection whatsoever except against maybe a tree branch scratch. Because the film is softer the film will still scratch - just the lights should be OK if it's not deep.

I saw zero advantages to putting it on my new lights so I started looking for alternate products. I have yet to find one that blocks UV's, is a thicker mill, and is really clear.

 

For sale/ trade thread: Looking to trade one or both "Tacoma" emblems for One front Grille emblem. The round logo emblem. I'll pay my shipping cost and you pay yours. Maybe there's some Satishi folks out there with the front emblem laying around.
