That IFS heep is gnarly. I dig it.

    A) I challenge you to load a dead elk in either one of those.

    B) I bet after a couple hundred miles down the highway you would hate it.

I could be wrong, it might handle like a sports car. It's a fine balance between performance, comfort, and reliability... I just haven't found it yet in the taco but I'll get there.

That's why I have a Taco haha. I could not live without a pickup bed. They just have waaaay to much utility not to have. Now, those AEV pickup conversions for Wranglers...if I ever get to swim in money...

Those AEV rigs are pretty snazzy. I looked at the website and got excited when I saw the prices. I thought, for $40K I'd get one. Then I notice the asterisk. "Price does not include base vehicle". Pssh. You could build one hell of a tacoma for $70K. http://www.aev-conversions.com/vehicles/brute-double-cab

Yea the prices are pretty absurd. Needs to be a diesel for that price point. Someday...haha. I like Jeeps, just need a pickup bed. I've thought that if I could stumble across a rear ended Wrangler for the right price this wouldn't be a bad idea. http://www.thejeephut.com/products/...ep-wrangler-jk-4-door-2007-2014-by-mopar.html

yep a 42, and the backspacing is 4.5 I think, they are the TRD "beadlocks" spray painted, running an 1.25" spacer ... I need to get lower backspacing wheels haha

It's hard to find them. It seems like all of the aluminum wheels in 16" or 17" are 4.5" BS.

It may be close, my wheels rubbed on the upper control arms bad, if anything you will need a .5 or .75 in spacer. But I also have 35 in tires

Yup, plus you have to run 1/2" spacers so it is effectively 3" BS. Want to buy my set? I have to warn you double beadlocks are not very street friendly. Fantastic in the dirt, but impossible to get anything close to balanced. I had 2500 airsoft bb's per tire in the last set to balance them, but I didn't put any in the BFG's and it rides like a tank.

I think I would destroy it the first weekend, spend 6 months unfucking it, then break it again on the maiden rebuild voyage. At least that's how my other builds go.
