Y'all will never believe what I just found. Went to check what size wrench I need to bleed my brakes, and everything under my rear passenger side is covered on oil. Then I look an see it dropping out of my brake drum. My fucking axle half is leaking. I went back and threw a fit at the place that installed my diff, but now he's throwing me under the bus cause it's been so many miles. I so wanna just sell this truck and find a new one. Im freakin pissed

    The arctic???????

Try moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where there's snow on the ground until June and the summers are just as hot as anywhere else.

Omaha has like two months of snow, two months of cold, then warm the other eight months haha.

How many miles since it was installed? which part is failing and how much fluids are left in the in the axle? I would raise a hell storm if anything they touched failed within 10,000 miles. Trust me the more you go back the more likely they are to fix any problems you have

Like my friend's grandpa told us when we were fixing his brakes. "Stay the fuck out of the mud and this shit won't happen"

It's been 4000 miles. I'm goin back tomorrow. It's my axle seal on the passenger side leaking. Apparently it's a known problem that when you pull the axles out on a taco, if you lean the axles on the seal it'll mess it up. Guy from my offroad group told me on fb. I'm freakin pissed. Also, the guy swears that there is no additional shimming needed when he installed my LSD. Says they used my old shims. I can't tell you how many people keep telling me that there should probably have been extra shims needed. When I mentioned it to the guy he literally said they are dumbasses who don't know what they're talking about. That could cause the vibe I got after install. But he refuses to accept that answer and says it's got to be driveshaft related

Lol I don't go in mud that bad. I guarantee if I didn't have the Truetrac installed, I wouldn't have a vibe or a leak. Neither happened until they touched my truck

I was wondering if that was the culprit it is common. What does he recommend to fix the problem it seems to me he is purely avoiding the problem itself. If its only 4000 miles he should still back up his workmanship most places will.

I'll find out tomorrow. He says he's busy all week, but wants me to bring the truck in so we can at least make sure the fluid is good. If I could set up gears and had the tools I would have done it myself. Worse comes to worse I'll be talkin to a lawyer
