    Hustled after getting back from dropping off my son at school and going to the gym. Cut one of the bricks to fit. Only took 10 min to do this. It has been a while since I cut a paver. I probably could have measured better but it is what it is.

    My son wants to help this afternoon. We will install the second course of brick and put some sand in to fill the cracks. Since we will be using an adhesive to bond the bricks together I will not wet down the sand to fill in the gaps until tomorrow. I will also have my son cut the brick on this course to get a nice tight fit.

    It is important that he is exposed to this type of work so when he owns a home he will not be clueless.

    Finished working on the fire pit today. I should finish it tomorrow.

    My son helped put on the second course of bricks. I had him cut the brick to fit the hole. ;)
