Lots easier to keep track of repairs this way as well haha

While looking at my front suspension, I noticed that one of the drivers side front strut nuts was off center and that the bolt didn't extend above the nut. I then tried to see if it was tight using a torque wrench and the nut twisted right off. It looks like the previous owner broke the stud and had someone weld (poorly) a new nut on there which was obviously worthless.

So, how critical is having 3 studs on the upper strut? I know offroading is a bad idea but how about around town?

Thanks man! I like them though they aren't done quite yet!
Doubt they'll settle, they ride close to flat now and the front is 23" frame to ground and are supposed to be 4" springs but they weren't new so I believe this is how she'll sit from now on

Well I can hook you up! I jigged these so I don't need the truck to make them from, theyre quick release and as mentioned above these still need latches and one more tube.. lots of tube in these things! but worth it to not look like every other companies simple doors! :D

I think it would be ok to drive where you need to go but I wouldn't leave it that way for too long.

very true.. whenever i do work on one side I literally forget which side i replaced in about a week or two lol.

I ended up putting my switches on the center console which made it super easy to tap into that shifter wire.. couldn't of worked out better.

That looks like a pretty nice alternative! I like the bedliner though because I can simply pull the body plugs and rinse the mud and so forth out plus I like the texture of it and water couldn't get trapped under it! but for around the same price either way you cant really go wrong with either one

I suggest trying to get the tack weld mod done as well as replace your tie rods. If your steering is tight and the rack isn't leaking then you'll be good to go.
Yeah, I just don't like all of the wiring showing. Otherwise I'd like the bedliner idea.

Yea, I have some hertz in my doors and when I ran the amp to them I used all new wiring so I made quick disco's at the front of the door. it literally takes me 1-1.5 minutes to go from stock door to tube door but I also just gave up on putting my kick panels back in so that helps on time a little bit

I just haven't put my door sil back in
Ive misplaced the passenger one some how so I need to find it, other than that I took precautions before doing it and layed the wires I knew wouldn't come up again in groves and when you get to the bottom of the bottle your left with some bed liner so I just poured it in and filled the groove.. but most of my wiring is all hidden and taped up witht he factory stuff.. I also ran my Ultragauge upto my map lights but waiting to get some sort of mount for it to go up there for good and an extension for the OBD2 connecter. I haven't even put my headliner back in since I did the roof rack and its grown on me to just keep it that way, I really like it without

That's what thought but it looks different than the pulley removal tool others have posted.
