White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
TruTrac with the button pushed and special lights on. Electronic traction control may be smart for some things, but it sure is better off-road to mash the throttle and see two tires throwing dirt and no brake chatter.

Might have been the best money spent on my 10.

Also, found out that it locks in reverse in a slippery parking lot.

Isn't there also a grey or yellow "wire" mod that you can do that sends traction to all 4 tires in 4 lo? I remember seeing a Youtube vid on it & it was pretty impressive. I have it written down somewhere as my first mod to do whenever I get a TRD OFF/ROAD 4WD.

Especially being diesel & the huge amount of torque you have. Hey, at least it's 4WD.

Agreed! All car manufacturers find a way to complicate stuff so you have to pay more.

    Hello Paul,

Wow, I did not know that it also worked in reverse. That's awesome! Especially since the weight is transferred to the front of your truck when backing up quickly so that's excellent traction on True Tracs part. I wonder if my OEM LSD can do that? I'll try it in some dirt or slick road.

I assume that you are referring to the VSC button? Keep in mind that I have an '08 SR5 with no type of electronic stability or trac assist at all, aside from ABS.

Since you added the True Trac is there a way to disable the electronic system? Is that what you are doing when you press the button?

And yes, I like leaving 2 lines in the dirt when accelerating quickly! It's about the most fun us 2WD guys can have.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
I know there is both a grey and yellow wire mod. I'm pretty sure yellow is the one your thinking of though. I did it to my truck and it works really well. It doesn't apply to the offroad models as far as I know because they have ATRAC which is better anyway.

NICE! Incredible what a set of headlights can do for the front of a vehicle. Your truck looks more aggressive. Those headlights go well with the color of your truck. Great job man!

Can you take a pic on the same road that you took the HID pic in for better comparison?

    Dan,

I received this from Michelin Corp. regarding the BFG AT KO2 in 285/70r17.

    Petros,

That size should launch in the first phase November 2014. Also, I was wrong on the phase's as there are going to only be 2 phases.

    Launch Phase 1: 32 sizes(2014)

    Launch Phase 2: 30 sizes(2015)

Thanks...I will...was defiantly planning on doing that. I can tell you the projectors are defiantly brighter and more even where the light is supposed to be. The HID's were more scattered, maybe a little dimmer.

The HID's were brighter right in front of the headlights, but the light was soo scattered, not much made it down the road. The scattered light of the HID's made signs and road markers light up down the road, but that's only because of the scattered light. With high-beams on, it's actually brighter with the projectors. high-beams on the HID's were great for road signs, but moved light off the road and made it useless.

Dan, that looks awesome! Seriously, you nailed that combo. The guy who tinted your fogs chose the perfect shade because it looks like you bought the fogs to match the headlights.

It looks like it came this way from the factory.

    Sig pic sir, sig pic.
