Looks good like that, also looks like it can to be used as an actual step. Mine are steps 99% of the time and sliders only 1%. They make contact more frequently than others with sliders that hug the body, but I'm ok with it.

I think you might like the contrast of the bhlm and the darkness of the projector lens when its not on. I didn't paint anything, just left mine stock looking, pics are in the gallery somewhere

I checked around a lot and it really depends on what you want. Prices are about the same everywhere on the island, but stock isn't. City mill will have your grade 5, auto parts stores will have grade 8 up to 1/2" x 3". I ended up going to Lowes cause they have all the way up to 3/5" grade 8. I went with a bunch of 9/16" and a few 5/8" grade 8.

So I am going to be selling my dual sport here soon mainly cause i dont ride it as much as i had hope and because i will probably be getting the metal plate removed from my right collar bone which will make it a little harder to ride for a while

Have a leak from one of the efan bolts. Knew I shouldn't have ever used bolts for those efans. Shroud or nothing!

I should have it good tomorrow or Friday. Going to make a shroud while it's off, but shouldn't take too long. I'll be there Sunday no matter what! Even if I have to take the 37.
RC race. More than welcome to join :)
