What's the length and width of your trailer, from outer tires, and from ball to back?

 

Mine is big.
12' long 7'4" wide outside tire to tire, 7'6" outside fender to fender. The bed is 5' x 8' , 1280 lbs
I can hold 3 motorcycles, 2 kayaks and camping gear on just the trailer

 

I like that a lot! love how you can fit the bikes on it.

 

This is my new toy. Unfortunately it's forced me to replace my Edge CTS with a scangauge so I can keep an eye on the tranny temps.

 

I tow a pop up and put a quad in the bed.

I'm pretty sure that's it. The trailer is sitting out in the countryside waiting for our next trip so I can't say for 100 percent sure.

I really like the trailer. When I was a kid we owned a 22 foot Terry and this unit reminds me a lot of it. Jayco puts in a lot of standard equipment compared to some other entry level manufacturers, and that's probably what I like the most. The value. We really just needed a place to sleep and she wanted a solid wall. I wanted a dual axle. For us it's just perfect

 

I agree, Jayco seems to be the best bang for your buck. Does yours have outdoor speakers? Do you use them often? Mine doesn't so I'm thinking of installing some. Other than that I love ours. My girlfriend wont come camping in the RTT and I wanted something to tow so that's why we got it.

Yeah, mine came with the convenience package, so I got the dual mode water heater and the outdoor speakers. It came with a few other extra's, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. We like having music playing lightly during conversations, my biggest complaint is that the stock head unit is not iPod usb compatible. We have to use an AUX cable which seems ghetto nowadays .

Actually, just as an aside, I paid around 11,500 CAN cash for mine plus taxes and added warranty. There's a few hail dents in it, and the owner of the rv place was saving it for one of his kids but they didn't want an aluminum sided TT. I had my name waiting, I think I did extremely well for a new TT with very minor damage to the non door side.

As for Towing it's okay/great depending on how you look at it. It's fine for the Tacoma, with the WD hitch it doesn't push my truck around at all. The brakes are solid but no matter how much I adjust the gain i still think they could be better. Maybe they'll improve after some wear. Don't get me wrong, I can easily stop the whole shebang in a heartbeat, but I think the brakes aren't as good as the ones on my enclosed cargo trailer.

Power wise, I have the supercharger so I never feel outta power with it. My biggest complaint is that i think in 4th the supercharger is staying in boost on the highway which is costing me MPG's. It's okay, but I would of liked to of got slightly better mileage than 7-9 mpg with this TT. I get 10-14 mpg when i tow a 3000 lbs, albeit smaller profile, cargo trailer.

I thought the exact same thing with the head unit, would love for it to charge my phone while it plays. I didn't even realize they had a dual mode water heater I have electric tongue jack and what I thought to be all the bells and whistles except for outdoor speakers.

You got a smoking deal on yours!! Most here are listed for around 18k. The aluminum siding is so easy to dent I'm sure mine will get banged up in no time anyways.

The WD seems like a good setup. I got airbags thinking they were the same thing but after talking to a few guys figured out that wasn't so I don't get pushed around though, I usually have dirtbikes or a quad back there so the extra weight seems to help. My trailer brakes got much better after a few trips, I can lock them up at full power now.

Super jelly of your S/C, must be nice with that extra power. I have a cai and catback so that helped. Still has lots of power, I just have to take it easy on the highway grades and such. My last trip with 1 dirtbike, generator, 2 people, 2/3 fresh water and trailer half full with gear I got 10-14mpg

The dual mode heater is a great feature, it saves a ton of gas when your on site and have power available. Yeah, I'll figure out what's going on with the milage some day lol. Like is said, I think it's because the truck gets stuck in boost.

With my w/d, taxes and fees, and 5 extra years of warranty I was under 16000 k .

 

I've never posted in the towing section but a few things I hauled/towed with my taco. The Harleys and u-haul trailer were with stock leafs w/ only a AAL. The boat and atvs are with my current setup which are allpro expos leaf packs. The boat is the heaviest I've towed with the taco and weight is around 4000 pounds.
