Just installed my truxedo truxport. I'm loving the look and ease of use. However I need a little help. The instructions said to leave 1/8 of an inch gap between the tail gate header and side rails. I'm not too sure what they meant. I just winged it and it turned out alright. But would like to do it the right way. Any truxedo owners wanna help a brotha out? Thanks guys.

I couldn't actually find a model number. If you go to bds-suspension website, under tacoma it's just the 2.5" lift. Yes, the front is a strut spacer. You don't have to do the 2" blocks for the back, but I added it with the customize kit option. I also added fox struts in the back with the blocks.

It's been a couple years since I put mine on, but I assume they mean leaving enough room so you can release it and lock it back down easily. Mine is always a little tight after being rolled up, so I have to kind of give it a little push to get it between the rails again. But its so minimal, that its never been an issue.
I watched this video a couple times before I even got mine...
    http://youtu.be/9ZVVJFUi37Q

Then only thing I read in the directions is where it clamp down the rails. Hope this helps...

I had one, traded it and cash for hardshell so the dog could ride safe. They are great, quality, ease of use, look good! I would have kept it but family comes first. They come up on craigslist every couple months for less than 200. I highly recommend power pop n lock if your using this tonneau!

I had the truxedo low pro xt
