K&C cold air intake

    it has a k&N airtake system that came on it when I bought It
    Hey guys I don't have a stock air filter in my truck . It's K&C air filter can I do the deck mod . . I am not sure if I can do this really . It's the long plasti pipe with that big open round filter . Can I get some help . Sorry I am green on all this

    If it's the K&N cold air intake your referring to(not K&C), no you can't do the deckplate mod. You can only do it with the stock airbox or any other airbox that's similar.

    Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
    And the deckplate mod is only for V6's. You didn't specify in your profile if you have a V4 or V6.

    Actually you can also do the mod to the 4 cylinder as well. I believe it will gain you about 5 HP.
