Some days you have a great day of wheeling and nothing goes wrong. Everyone knows more or less what they are doing and it's great- See some rigs really getting some flex workouts.
    Like so:
    l_64552bfe086043838dcfa8c5928b27a9_32011292253f713dddf1369f38c9a7cc3413c431.png

Some days you have folks who are new to the game or have a style "all their own"

On those days you usually get to see some shit...Today was one of those days:
    l_5583197bafe04c5084e0e6e30a6a9314_a3efceb47ac46b68e9e405e03f218b0056ee5a62.png
Despite the saying "Just gas it- It'll fix the problem or end the suspense" the skinny pedal is NOT always the answer. The upper and lower ball joints on the 91 YJ departed the normal operating areas and left that wheel hanging by the brake lines.

So what do you do when you nasty your rig up in the middle of a trail- get the hell outta the way. And how do you do that?? ANY WAY YOU CAN:

    l_f50e4e3d1bd647dda19f2c85297590e4_750a8b3e2189adff5e0c6e77d28f9cc3471d25ee.png
Yes- That is a small tree ratchet strapped/winch secured to the suspension of the broked Jeep. And I'll be damned if one of the other Jeeps didn't pull that thing nearly 2 miles to a guys garage to work on putting to back together.

Oh yeah- Don't do this either:

My friend has a style all his own too when off-roading. He pulled a "Tommy Boy" move when he left his door open when backing up in his Nissan truck and bent the door back towards the engine compartment.

Yeah...I'm not even part of the club and they were nominating me for the "Broken Bolt" award...Month to month they award a special user title on their forums for the worst stupid stuck/broken part. And my mirror was first obstacle (of 4 we got to) of the day...so they were all over me.

Then the Jeep blew that whole tire/hub/axle out....and well....They left me alone after that....=) He was their "trailer" (last guy in the group- had a CB- been with the group a while) too. Just shows how quickly a good day can get ugly.

He was doing fine thru most of the obstacles and stuff...but a little hot the whole time...Carried a LOT of speed and put a LOT of pedal in to get moving from stopped. He hung up in a hole and turned full lock left and gunned it. The tire shook for about 5 seconds and most everyone was shouting to stop...then the tire just went "clunk" and fell off.

More excitment from today. This was a slightly unexpected QUICK camber change. Prolly would have been strapped if he knew it was coming that quick...but it settled back down in the rear in about 2 seconds. This was a LUCKY LUCK pic.
