Am I not right that if Manning is top 5, Brady is too, vice versa? Agree with me and I'll let it go.

because you fuckers never get it, and I'm not accepting that Brady is not top 5 all time. I'm not even accepting that he isnt right above or right below manning.

I think it's stupid to compare players that played in different eras personally. It's a different game now than it was. Not just coming as a Steelers fan but if Brady or any of the QBs nowadays played against the Steel Curtain or any of the dominant defenses back in the day they would all be on the sidelines crying like little bitches. That's my opinion at least

And if my aunt had a dick, she'd be an uncle that pees standing up.

Since both have roughly the same chance at actually happening...

Who gives a fuck of Brady's team beats Peyton's team more than Peyton's team has beaten Brady's? THAT IS THE POINT. Its not one guy being all that. Its a team effort of 53 guys (46 active on game day) and coaches and front offices and, yes, some luck.

Peyton went down and the Colts instantly went from a 10-year playoff team to lucky to be 2-14.

Brady went down and his backup went 11-5 and should have been in the post season. He followed his backups 11 wins with 10.

Still damn good. But for FSM's sake, be realistic. It isn't that Brady isn't really, really good. He is. But it's about the coaching staff (I detest Belicheat but goddamn is that fucker one whale of a coach), the front office, the team, all the moving parts.

Remove Manning from his and you get 2-14, or Tebow winning 7 games.

Brady is good, but means less to the overall success of his team, with his coaches, and that front office, in that program, than Manning has in two different programs, two different buildings, two different systems.

I disagree. Brady has a higher winning pct than Manning does, has the most playoff wins in NFL history, and is just generally a better QB. Me and you are not going to agree with eachother, so fuck you, fuck me, and lets move on.

SOME defenses of yesteryear would be able to cope sorta. The Purple People Eaters, teh Steels Curtain, the Ram's Fearsome Foursome, for instance. But that would be only if they were allowed to play the game they played, not with the rules of today.

But the play of ALL players today is a way different, highly specialized type of play. Shit, there are guys in the defenses I quoted above that had JOBS besides being football players because they had to pay the bills. There are guys up there that couldn't stay with the team in some cities' away games because BLACKS WEREN'T ALLOWED IN THE HOTELS.

    Think about that a second.

There's college guys that come out know with physical abilities and game knowledge that some HOFers of yesteryear NEVER attained, even in the pros.

I was talking if they played with the old rules. No if you touch a QB it's a penalty rules.. Back when football was actually tackle football and not this pansy shit they play nowadays

    Fuck you too, indeed!

Still, like I said, Favre has more interceptions than anyone in history, and he'd beat lil Tommy Brieber like the bitch he is. At a certain point, it's almost impossible to compare stats.

    *shrug*

Still, we can agree to disagree and move on.

How about a FUCK THE J E S T for solidarity's sake, as football fans?

Oh, no doubt. If Deacon could headslap today, Reggie White would be looking WAYYYY up at the sack lead number. Not even a doubt.

No, because every now and then it's fun to give him crap. But that might be the best answer.

The Brady inspired 2 hand touch style crap was the beginning of the end of REAL football. I hate the steelers, but I agree completely with this steeler fan. Brady and Drew Brees also are the most protected QB's in the league by the refs. Fart upwind of either of them and they get a 15yd personal foul... If they ever had to take real hits they would be shook like a lil bitch.

Completely agree. I remember watching Dan Fouts getting hit and then getting up with a bloody nose yell at his o line and keep playing. Now days the QB's get hit and they look to the ref for a personal foul penalty.

Except it wasn't that big and that was all media speculation. He took less money so they could bring in better players.. Something your boy Gaydy would never do.
