My JH03 http://www.joehauler.com/camloc/camloc.shtml just arrived today. It's well made, light weight, and made in the good ol USA. Thing shipped out right away, and customer service was great. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. Just waiting for my ARB awning to show up then I can load the Sherco 2.9 and head to Nationals! Taco+Topper+Bike on carrier=Hella weekend!

Nice trial bike. Something I've always wanted to try and have never gotten the opportunity to.

    Matt, I'm just doing PA.
@Goosedog, I've rode my trials bike there alot. There are lots of trails that would be very dual sport bike friendly. I would love to take my DRZ down there. Go ride your DS bike there and rent one of their trials bikes to give it a try. They are very hospitable.

So I've found an 08 Husqvarna SM610 with low miles and I'd say at a good price. I just dont have any clue about these things. Like, how hard are parts to find, are there a lot of dealers around the East Coast and how is the maintenace on these things.

I bought an '06 new, did a ton of mods and rode the wheels off it. Sold it two years ago for what I paid for it (minus the mods) and loved it every day I owned it. No harder to work on than my YZ450. Got all my OEM parts from Upstate Cycle in Greenville, SC.

Can anyone give me any feed back on this ad that I found? I'm just trying to find out if the price is way high for this DRZ. It is an 05 with 11,000 miles and a good list of mods. All the parts listed are new and have aroumnd 1000 miles on them. I looked up what these go for in excellent condition and its around $3000. Thanks for any info and advise.

What a lot of people don't realize is they get pennies on the dollar for aftermarket stuff bundled with or installed on bikes at sale. It's why I keep all my stock stuff to revert a bike to back before selling it, and then sell the aftermarket stuff separately.

With the ubiquity of larger-engine supermotos the big bore and carb kit have little value as you could just take your money and buy a larger-stock displacement bike. The rest of the mods aren't that expensive. Also keep in mind the aftermarket computer prevents you from really knowing what mileage is on the bike.

Overall I'd say that's a bad deal, mostly since there's no way to verify mileage on the bike and he sees value in his mods that isn't there.

Another question I have is about milage on an older bike. I've found an 07 DRZ with less then 2000 miles on it. Now would this be a bad thing for a bike, because it sits around more then being ran and racking up the miles?

If it starts then I'd say it's probably good. Change the oil and go. You might need to replace the carb needle valve that may have worn a grove in over time (or become brittle over time). Carbs might be gummed up and a new battery is probably in order.
