Thanks, it's just tall fescue. Easy to patch up with just seed here.

House, 5 acres, and a pond in Moore, OK. Keeps me busy, but not really a lot of work.
I find time to relax and catch fish. That's my grandson about 3 weeks ago.

I couldnt even imagine that. That would literally cause me to go crazy. When I lived in Reno I just had rentals with small lots, and I couldnt take it. I only have 1.25 acres right now and its not big enough. I grew up on 5, and my wife grew up on about 40. And that price,

That place looks awesome. I would love to have a pond.

Not saying this is what you have but would be my first guess. I've dealt with this in the past and the only option was to re-sod.

I'd like to take pride in my yard, but I'm currently operating a rock farm. lol

Been working on the house for a few years, so the lawn has been neglected. I'm surrounded by trees, so I have a lot of moss incursion on the edges too. I do fertalize and do some weed prevention on most of the space, but it is going to need major work to get it looking great.

Thanks, I need to take out the tree that is dying and replace it. Not sure what type or time of year would be best though.

I've got 2 Cleveland pear trees in my front yard. They look nice and don't require a lot of maintenance. One other thing about Cleveland pear trees is they aren't as susceptible to breaking during a ice storm as Bradford pear trees. As far as the look goes they are very similar and both grow very fast. We planted these the first year we were here and they were about 3' and now they are about 35' tall. Pictures in the first post.

I do the best I can with my lawn. Its St. Augustine which I love but it does take a lot of water to keep green in the Texas heat. I just put down my late spring fertilizer and another round of insect killer this weekend. I have lost a couple of the shrubs along the front of the house this year and not really sure why or what I am going to do to fix it. Pics are as of this weekend.

    Thank you.

My wife mowed it on Sat while I was at the station to surprise me. Good thing she did since it has rained for the last 2 days straight.
She also washed the FR-S though that didn't do much good since all the rain but I'm not complaining about the rain.
It's seldom we get this much rain this time of year.

No grass for me. We looked for property that did not have a lawn as I didn't want to deal with it. We're pretty much natural landscape and avocado trees. They take a lot of water as it is.

Yuck, I never liked avacodos. Yesterday I went to visit my mom. She asked me to pick up 3 avacodos. Im at the store trying to figure out how to tell if they are good or bad. So I ask this cute lady that was picking up some for herself. She looks at me and says "you're mexican and dont know how to tell if an avacodo is good"?? LOL, we had a good laugh.
