That looks a lot like my table. I bought mine off backcountry.com for 40 bucks during one of their sales. Folds up like a small narrow camping chair and really lightweight. Love how easy it is to set up and for the amount it weighs it's darn sturdy

It's a really small table as the top rolls up and the bottom compresses. Price is right, table is stable! it's a really good value.

 

Camping in trucks is cheating.

 

So... do you strap the beer cooler to your backpack?

 

No, camping in a 40' mobile hotel suite RV is cheating. Camping in a truck is just like camping with a pack mule...a 4X4 pack mule that you can sleep in.

 

I usually turn one of my motorcycle's waterproof side-bags into an ice cooler with beer. The trick is not to fall over on the way to the campsite since I camp way out in the bush usually.

Amusingly I bought the truck so I could bring the bike and my big-ass telescopes out camping. With the telescope gear and the access cab I don't have much room beyond what I bring on the bike normally which is kind of funny. I have a pic of the truck loaded up from last weekend that I'll post up in a bit after I upload it to my home server.

 

Anyone have on of those Xventure trailer that you see on Xoverland? Pics please.

If there's one thing I've gotten from this thread, it's that there are some amazingly beautiful places in this country.

Thanks for sharing the pictures everyone. I'm extremely jealous. Unfortunately, I don't get to do this very often because the wife is not a fan of sleeping in the woods (or desert, or anywhere outside). And no, getting rid of her is not an option. LOL.

I've been pretty much stuck on the east coast my whole life (42 now) and I realize I need to get myself travelling around and doing this sort of thing.

Is that grill made by Lodge MFG? If so, how do you like it? Thought about getting one.

 

Any problems with rust? I am really thinking about getting it now.
