So wait....it was going over and throttle was going to be the only thing that stopped it? But you didn't use the throttle, you stopped. And it didn't roll. Newsflash...throttle wasn't the answer, you just said it.

I can't even count how many times I've been across that obstacle and how many trucks I've seen cross it. Certain trucks (like tacomas) lift a tire frequently. For someone who hasn't done it before it feels like it's gonna roll. But it doesn't. Just because your sliders made contact does not mean it would have rolled if you didn't have sliders. Even from your pic, that's not that close to going over. Not gonna argue it doesn't feel right when you're in the truck, but it's not an obstacle where trucks roll. Seriously, can anyone even think of a case when they've heard of someone rolling on the Golden Crack? I can't, and I know I've never seen it happen in person in the 20+ years I've been going to Moab and the countless times I've been on that trail.

Damnit now I see your name (Jared). My wife was making fun of me for calling you Papa Taco on the CB. I was like, "Shit that's how he introduced himself to me!" LOL

hahaha I kinda prefer papa taco hahaha seems to fit me better. I built those sliders (copied from tacobeef I believe, he's down in San Diego). I bent that side going through Kane Creek (next year that trail will be my bitch) so I am going to rebuild them eventually haha

Yea I kinda figured bc your SoCal friends were calling you Papa Taco too. "Papa Taco is your jeep friend behind you?" LOL

Yea I agree Kane Creek is an awesome trail and I want to run it again next year. Hopefully I don't almost tip over the cliff again :(

Fair enough. Point still stands however. Even more so on the Seven Mile Crack. Neither one is a rollover obstacle.
