Finally have an update. :D Bumper and Sliders ship today from Cali so hope to see them by the end of week or next since they are freight. As soon as they get here I will be prepping them for LineX coatings as the finish. Can't wait to get them mounted up.

    :woot:

If you're planning on using the sliders as designed I recommend not LineX coating them, it'll just get ground off and be harder to touch up.

Right on man. Thanks for that tip. What would you suggest to do with them then? They are being shipped raw.

Thanks man! Love the look of the white ones also. That blue looks sweet too though. That is a sweet looking truck man. Great job so far!

Just grind the mill scale off and use some Rustoleum Primer and Rustoleum rattle can bed liner. Makes for easy touch-ups after a weekend on the trails.

Right on man. That sounds far easier to do actually. Thanks for the tip. BTW, love the progress on your build man. I've been lurking and will be pinging you in the near future on some suggestions for the rear. Thanks bro!

Dude, I'm so stoked to finally get this stuff on my truck. Gotta get some Rigids and a Warn now. It never ends and my wife is starting to wonder why she let me get a new truck.

Just got done emailing Satin out at Pelfreybilt. Ordered up the IFS and MID skids along with the Rigids for the bumper. Once these land I'll be mounting up the bumper so that the skids and lights can go on at the same time. Will be doing the sliders this weekend if all works out. Should be fun!

Throw a trans skid in on that order too. You know you're going to want it.

Yeah Trust me if I could have swung it I would have. That will be ordered next for sure along with the rear Hi Clearance Bumper. Probably in a month or so. 4th of July is coming up so I gotta still celebrate our liberty with a good showing. That rear bumper is so freak'n tits it's killing me to wait.

The better way to do it is buy yourself an angle finder to determine what needs to be shimmed and how much, unfortunately for me, nothing worked, the best I got it to was a beefed taco CB drop (1 1/4") and 3* shims but the take off shudder was still there. I'm buying a new one piece drive shaft from tom woods soon, that'll take care of it!

Pics are coming. I've got the bumper mounted up now and just not had a chance to snap some. Hope to work on getting the sliders welded up today.

Yeah, I've been down that route now also. I'm going to have to order a one piece drive shaft also I think. Unless I find something else that works before hand. I surely thought the CB drop would have nipped it but came up short.

There is a driveline shop I've just started talking to up in NO VA to see if they can customize one for me, if so I will be going that route, but we will see. The TW shafts are hit or miss, but at least if it doesn't work they will let you ship it back and get a full refund.

Interesting. We have a specialty drive line shop local to me called Atlanta Drive line specialties. They do good work from what I hear and I have seen some of the drive lines they offer, some of which are made of carbon! I've got it on my list of things to do to give them a call about my problem and see what they got for me. Seems like the only route I got that would be easy to deal with. I'll keep you all posted on this, stay tuned. I will try to get it done this week. Thanks for the idea!
