    Hoping this thread goes good.
Is there any Tacoma's in the Antelope Valley??
Specifically wondering around the Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill, and Parablosm area.
I have seen a couple Tacoma's done up and just yesterday around 4pm saw a grey Tacoma that had long travel and fender flares on Parablosm hwy and decided to see if any of them were on here and could help start a thread.
I know there's are A Lot of places out here to off road and explore considering we are surrounded by empty desert and close to California City and all.

So if there are any of you out here, let's see pic's of your trucks and hear about places you off road!!!:D

I just sold my yota but I still have my ranger race truck but I'm swapping the motor in it now. I drive a longtravel tan gmc sierra now. We go off-roading in quartz hill

im completely surrounded by trails. i personally wouldnt put too much money into a 4banger but if youre going to get a lift for offroad use and not just looking taller, dont go cheap.. save your pennies and go for the gold. it really makes a difference

    I took out the 2.9 v6 and I'm putting in a sbc 350 motor with a turbo400 tranny in it. 9ynudytu_2c3a4ce2ea0c0e109b1858282cb3be0fc5909489.jpg

I dont want to make it taller or go big on the tires because of the engine but I am now figuring still go with suspension on my taco or just spend the money on a mx bike again and start riding again lol :D

The first car I had was a '90 2.9L Ranger. Do miss it. It had F-150 Fabtech suspenion front and rear and just front flared fenders but it was soo much fun hahaha

Mine is a 89 and the 2.9 just wasn't cutting it with what I'm doing. They are great trucks.

After we 4 linked it we just weren't happy with the v6. It wasn't fast enough for us. So with the motor, tranny and gears it will really be fun to drive. This was when we where just about finished with the rear 4 link

yea those are good little trucks. I was debating on one of those or a tacoma before i bought my truck but i wanted a little more room but not a full size truck and not a v6 or v8 cause of work it'd be hell with gas.
But that truck does look very fun to take out!

Just got stationed here at Edwards AFB. I used to do some minor offroading/climbing until I disassembled a CV axle and almost put a rock through my transmission on a sweet truck I was still paying for. Always down for turning wrenches and/or drinking beer. I know the whole state is in a drought, but if anyone knows any remaining fishing spots within a reasonable distance I'll bring the beer for a tour.
