Probably unibody. I'm more interested to see the powertrain enhancements

Looks good under the cloth to me. Interested to see the whole package and what options and features they include? Maybe the 1st compact truck with a diesel to go along with the next diesel Titan coming in a year or 2?

If anyone does it in a mid size I think it will be Nissan first. Plenty of YouTube vids to support my theory.

No matter what they do, I still think they won't outsell a Tacoma

^Maybe, maybe not. Nissan's gotta do hot-weather / towing tests somewhere. AZ desert may be suitable.

Nope. I was part of the Pre Production evaluation for it, the Chevy/GMC Colorado/Canyon, and the Honda Ridgeline.

I don't know. The New Ridgeline looks pretty dam good. The Nissan looks almost the same. The outside of the GMC/Chevy's look good, but the inside looks like it was designed by a clown.........who was drunk.

What can you divulge about the Honda Ridgeline? :) Is it finally body-on-frame? Closer to full-size or to mid-size trucks?

Well......Its always been a hybrid unibody on frame design....But the new one will be more like an actual truck. Still mid size, with better transmission, power, and economy. IIRC, it has a 7 speed auto.

    Very cool about the Ridgeline.

I've always bought Toyota Trucks (owned 4) or Honda cars (owned 3). They are both even in terms of reliability IMO.

If Honda can produce a nice truck comparable to the Tacoma I will definately be having a close look.

To bad the 1 VW I owned (2012 GLI) has me wanting more. They feel so much better to drive than Honda or Toyota. And the TDI Touareg is a the best vehicle I've driven. The reliability has me troubled.

I imagine all auto makers will be using a 3.6 or so litre engine as they are SO common now.

    Toyota/Lexus
    Jeep
    Dodge
    VW
    porsche
    Honda/Acura
    Chevy/GM

All are using a 3.6 (Honda 3.5L) engine on their vehicles, with impressive results. 300hp/300trq in the Cayenne. Seems to be an industry trend.

The front end looks like a crossover, not a fan of that, but everything else looks good on it.
