Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You won't get "more power" results from going to roller rockers, if they even make them for the 1GR

not sure if you have a 2nd gen or 1st gen.the 2nd gen is a dohc wich does not use rocker arms they are mostly used on pushrod engines.the only time you see rocker arms on ohc engines is when its a single ohc engine.and i'm pretty sure the 1st gen engines are dohc engines also.

rockers on v8s are a sorta lever, cam pushes a pushrod then the rocker, rocker opens the valve. most dont have rollers, so they mak some hp by having less friction. also they usually increas the ratio so the valves open up more.

I really dont know if we have em , i think were overhead cams... no rockers.

did alittle looking around on the web and as i thought both tacoma v6 engine are dohc.they have four cams total 2 for each cylinder bank.wich means one cam opperates your intake vales and one takes care of the exhaust valves.they cam lobes on these engines directly open your valves.so your v6 does not use roller rockers.

Toyota seems to like the OHC design in the trucks. I don't know it the 5.7 is a OHC design or not though.
