    Just saw this. Your logic makes sense to me. Before I regeared the rear/locked it I was reading through a few crawl magazines to see what koh rigs ran and what was really tried and true and I kept reading about grizzly lockers from Yukon, spools and a Detroit here and there. Hence why I went Detroit in the rear. Lincoln def sounds more cost effective for your app though. I'd probably done the same in your shoes

    Not hard if you have all the tools ( not my case now that I'm here in MD have to pay a shop to do it and replace my U-joins that there was one really bad ) and you maybe have to replace one U-join at least on the 4WD not sure how is on your 2WD

    Yo Tim, glad you see you're back in a Taco. What's been going on with you?

    It was before you left but I remember you mentioning going out to the middle of no where soon. Congrats on the marriage and your first house. Next is a kid :eek: Is you place in MD close to the rents? Have any trips to FL planned?

    I've got a few trips to visit family and what not. I had an internship for the semester that could have gone into the summer but decided it wasn't for me. For the lawn business I just formed an LLC so I'll be focusing on that this summer.

    When I got my new tires I just reset the trip meter and a gps, drove around, and then calculated the percent difference. Came out to be 6.3% so that's what I've been using since for calculating MPG.
