Do you know where you can get some material to make some skirts without spending to much?

 

so im removing my passenger door lock actuator right now and I'm having trouble getting one of the clips off that connects it to the exterior door handle. Its a little yellow clip and the metal rod going through it has a mushroomed head so its hard/impossible to pull it through without breaking something.
I only wanted to try and clean the actuator to get it working again. i don't have any replacement parts/new door handles ATM so i am just trying not to break anything.

I bought some pond liner from Lowe's. Was in the garden section. It was $40 for a 7'x10' package.

I cut and installed one apron piece. Not has heavy as the stock stuff but seems to be doing what it is supposed to.

 

Yeah I have seen that stuff but I didn't feel like dropping 40 bills for something that has to be sold in smaller pieces for a few dollars elsewhere.

 

Installed piaa fog lamps and a light bar. Now I need to do a bunch of wiring.

 

I wonder if this stuff will work. What do you think?

Any 3.4 guys looking to do a SAS need the power steering hose conversion? I have an extra set I need to offload

 

I don't see why not. Has me thinking about getting it instead of the pond liner stuff I have now.

Was sTrolling around cabellas today and came across a deck plate. So looks like imma do thr infamous deck plate mod tonight! Finally get to see if the hype is real

 

I didn't notice any difference.

 

The only difference I've noticed is the intake sound is pretty loud when you're on the gas under heavier load.

 

Yeah I wasn't expecting huge gains or anything haha. Just something to do on the day off

 

The deck plate mod is the tribal arm band tatoo of tw. A right of passage.

I wish now I had never done it. A big waist of time. The cover is on mine all of the time now. YMMV

 

At least you are into it for the money those of us spent buying into FIPKs.

It was a nice experiment but I wish I had known what I know now.

 

My sentiments exactly. Yeah. The good news about doing the deck plate is it is a cheap mod.
