What made you decide to bob it? Just for the extra clearance? I understand that the lb have a longer wheelbase compared to sb but it seems odd to shorten the bed unless you were never worried about bed space in the first place?

Been following both threads so just curious cause I didn't see a specific reason

Lol truth. Building my HC rear right now and it will hopefully help my angles a bit.

Yea keeps the ass from hanging up on shit, especially steep approaches and descents. But you are right that the wheelbase is still long so the break over angle hasn't changed.

I'm curious why he did it to a dclb when he has a dcsb. Just seems like the shorter wheelbase would've been better. But then again I enjoy having a dclb and it's fun when you see an access cab have a difficult time on a trail and then you do it flawlessly :D

Either way it's sick to see a bobbed bed :p
    Nice work Jamie.

the bedsided are welded together, and will be reinforced soon. the bottom of the bed in the pic is seam sealer. I'm going to have some plates made to join 3 bed bolts on each side together.
