The end with the ball bearings right? You rotate it at a 45* angle and pop the bearings into place one at a time. Once they are all in you slide the new shaft in until the internal C-clip catches. Post a picture if that's not what you are talking about.

So Will, Charles from CDA Idaho, and I went out yesterday to the trails around Sherman pass. Will started the damage with a broken driver side mirror housing, followed by Charles breaking his driver side mirror glass, I broke off my radio antenna (again), Will took his antenna off to match me, then Charles finished it by plowing into a tree. It looks totaled. We took Charles to the hospital in Republic to get his head checked out. He luckily walked away from it with a few cuts and a big goose egg on his head.

The tree still stands where it was. It was a big tree.

I was behind a little ways and didn't see it happen, but it think it was a little too much speed, and getting tired at the end of the day.

He was a bit off last night, but was good this morning. Only 1 trail to knock off the list though.

Thanks smartass. Did he slip off a rock into the tree or was he on a wet trail and slid into it

I didn't see it happen as I was a little behind but I think it was cruising a bit too quick on the gravel.

True, but when that bucket comes loose it won't survive long.

Fixed up my truck over the weekend, no more drippy differential. Found an OEM shaft from a yard for $70, cleaned it and popped it in. That's the only thing that was wrong.

Autozone CV will be a limp-home trail spare

Got to ride a WRR this weekend for 5 miles. I find the friction zone is pretty small, but maybe I'm just not very good
I want to try out more stuff, but the Kawi dealer generally hates being bothered and the Honda dealer works on high pressure sales. No thanks, don't need that. Going to see about dealers somewhere else.

I think it was a bit of gravel and too much speed. He caught a front passenger tire off trail and then the momentum carried him into a tree. Once the front wheel got off the trail, he would have needed to back out.

There was not any moisture on the road. Tree took a bit of damage - more than I expected is what I mean. Interesting that Chris' airbag did not deploy. There was a bend in the steering wheel where his face struck and a large depression in the passenger dashboard where a large bulldog impacted.
