so last week I got my first response to my rims on CL, the guy wanted to go through a certified cashier check......ya sorry no, I specifically had on CL either cash or Paypal...nothing else. Texted the guy no that I didnt trust it and if he still wanted the rims we can go through paypal like I originally said....never got a reply back from him. sure seems like there are no more honest buyers anymore, all people want to do is steal your shit...f'n Craig List lol

 

I know the feeling. I have about a 60% flake rate with people on CL. Why say you're going to meet me and then not show up? I usually don't hold anything anymore either. First one to put the cash in hand gets it. Sucks but it kinda has to be that way or I get screwed.

I know the feeling. Put my first gen on CL yesterday. Guy called, and we negotiated on phone. Knock some $$ off if I put stock wheel/tires back on. Said he was going to head this way. So I switched the wheels and tires over. Hadn't heard back from him so I texted him. 2 hours later he replies saying he's not gonna make it.
WTF??? I wasted 3 hours messing around waiting for the guy.

Yea, I love the truck. Would rather drive it then my 2nd gen honestly. It is way more comfortable. I plan on putting it in the classifieds here for a better price, just been busy.

 

Anyone know of a junkyard or place in Orlando I can get some old leaf springs for cheap? I need to add 1 leaf to each side of mine (need about 1" more height).

Nice truck man. How in the LLEH do you only have 24K? I thought my 2002 had low miles with 101K.

 

Haha its on my list. But after just spending almost 2k on Icons and UCA's im gonna have to wait a while. I may not even be alive after I give my wife the credit card bill tomorrow.
