Replaced my stock rugged fails about a month ago with a set of 265/75/16 load range C DuraTracs. With the rugged fails, my best MPG was 23. With the DuraTracs, I am getting around 19. Trying to get that number back up a bit so I decided to check my pressures. The shop had put 35 PSI in all four tires. Called up GoodYear customer support and gave them the specs (2011 DC 4x4). They came back with the following recommended pressures based on the weight distribution of my truck:

    Front - 45 PSI
    Rear - 48 PSI

I have not gotten around to doing the chalk test yet, but plan to soon. Driving to work this morning with the new pressures felt a bit smoother, and the sidewall doesn't bulge near as much as it used to. Hopefully these new pressures help my MPG go back up a bit and help these tires last as long as possible.

I had mine at about 42 and that seemed to be a good PSI for wear, ride and MPGs. Any lower and they feel a little squishy on the street.

Any updates on running those PSI, guys? I've got about 700 miles on my 265/75R16 Load C and have seen a 2 mpg drop on the highway. Had the stock Rugged Trails before that. Installers set my Duratracs at 31 psi up front and 28 in the rear.

I was running around 35 which felt good. I just pumped the up to 40 for a long road trip and noticed the tire were a lot quieter at this PSI.
